That was a given. We were supposed to score a few of those chances in the first half but goalkeepers putting in their best performances is also a trope.
Point blank we don't score when Janssen is on the field, he should not play. Fuck Pulis and his bullshit "tactics"
1 point is better then none at least. Still a shit second half performance until that last 6 minutes. Son is so important to our offense.
Hopefully this means Toby's injury isn't serious. The lads are having a CoD day, Dele patiently waiting his turn.
wimmer didn't even make the bench. would be surprised if he left in january, and i absolutely wouldn't blame him.
Eh... Poch has said that CCV is ahead of Wimmer in the pecking order. CCV is also right footed, so if something happens to Wanyama, and Dier has to move farther forward, then CCV can come in and play on the right.
I love the respect Bender is showing Son, the praise for his old teammate. Let's have Son pull a Chadli on 'em.
Only time I've noticed him, he crossed directly to Leno. This ref has been very conservative with the cards, I was giving what's his face in the UCL thread shit, but there have been tons of aggressive challenges.
too many poor performances to count today. wanyama has had a few bad giveaways, and he had been fantastic leading up to today. it's obvious we miss toby's presence
You big meany. I come in peace. Always loved him, mainly because we converted CAMs to CDMs for half a decade but love me some Winyama. IMO anything you lost on that Newcastle deal can sandbag on what you paid for him. Also, been working, not sure who your RB is but he is having quite a shitty match.
so lucky to get a point there. leverkusen was clearly the better team. we keep momentum in the group. COYS.
I only saw the last 10 minutes of the first half and second half. We got pretty dominated in the second half and were lucky to get away with a point. The last ten minutes of the first half though we had some great chances and sounds like we played much better in that half versus the second. I'll take a point on the road but we really need to get 3 next game at home if we want to have a chance to win the group.
Was unable to watch live yesterday for the first time in awhile, feltbadman. A draw at Leverkusen is a decent result, we need to take all 3 points in our two remaining home fixtures and we will be good to go.
We need to get back to our winning ways against Bournemouth this morning, the early start works for me as I just got home. We should be rolling with the 4-1-4-1 formation against this lot.
