I don't like the Original Series of Star Trek one bit, but The Next Generation ( at least from season 3 onward ) is still some of the best TV I have ever seen, and def top notch sci fi.

I love the hell out of the rebooted Star Trek. I thought it and the X Men First class movies would suck, but both are now classics in my book.

 

I love the original Star Trek series. I know it's severely outdated now, but I'm sure when it first came out it was awesome.

OK, I finally saw Prometheus. I didn't like it.

On the surface it was an entertaining movie but when you took a second and asked a couple questions the whole movie is full of more plot hole than swiss cheese.

 

watched a little bit of John Carter of Mars, it isn't as bad as the critics said.

 

Oh yeah, and the little Alien tie in they threw in at the very end was complete and utter shit. Absolutely no reason that should have been in there. Just stupid.

 

I thought Prometheus was pretty good. Not nearly what people were hyping it to be, but not many movies live up to the expectations that people have been setting over the last 5+ years.

I also agree with Alucard that John Carter was a pretty entertaining movie. Not awesome, but I liked it.

It's a really good book. It's also a super fast read. I probably recommend Enders Game to more people based solely on how quick people can get through it. It's not like trying to get through a Game of Thrones or anything.

really excited about this one for some reason. I think riddick is one of the most badass characters in cinema over the past 20 years.

 

Agree and the Riddick universe in general seemed to have some potential as a pretty cool universe.

 

never understood the hate for Vin Diesel. I think he is a good actor and he can play a badass in movies just as good as anyone else...

 

someone needs to remake/reboot Flash Gordon, but keep the Queen soundtrack

I think that Ender's game trailer is a senior class project. Went searching for a real one and I don't think it's out yet.

Paul walker's only good movie was Running Scared. and it still was a pretty terrible movie.

 

Yeah, I was going to say. I hadn't seen an trailer for it yet and after watching that one I was very disappointed. That shit made it look dumb as fuck. Pretty sure the drop ships from Starship Troopers made it in there and I was like "hey, you can't just blatantly recycle something like that. People will know!"

 

I will never not hit play on that video. I see Family Guy - Ostrich Laugh I have to watch it and get a chuckle. It's also an instant Like from me.

I think we just became e-friends. I just think his role as Riddick overwrites everything he has ever done because it is such a bad ass role.
