was encouraged by mo williams' play tonight. no kyrie or shump and a bunch of guys who basically haven't played since june and nearly beat the only team remotely resembling a threat in the east on the road. mo/jr/tt will be a really nice second unit
Another Cleveland team I will be following because I have a buddy who made the roster. I'm really surprised Cunningham was one of the 15.
User Actions FollowingMcNeil@Reflog_18 Brian Windhorst is planning on playing his way into shape this NBA season.
Gotta be pleased with that lineup, LeBron scoring 12 (hopefully he is headed to the bench), and up 30 @ a quality team like Memphis. Jefferson was really solid tonight. Obviously he won't go 5-6 from the field every night, but it seems like he feels comfortable in the flow of the offense.
it's early and i'm not overly optimistic that it will continue, but jefferson looks like he still has something left in the tank. figured he'd be marion 2.0 but he looks really good so far. everything just looks so crisp. ball isn't sticking, team's getting good looks consistently, and the defense is constantly active. even during the second half surge last season, things would still bog down from time to time. this group looks like a machine already, and we're still missing kyrie and shump
the ball movement and off-ball movement is light years away from last year last year it was attempt 1 or 2 pnr's then iso this year it's been complex plays, multiple screens into pnr's or stagger screens, etc
I have thought of you while he's played well. I hope he keeps it up. It would be a very pleasant surprise to me
are you just constantly wrong about personnel decisions regarding your favorite teams? get it together man
I've hated a lot of moves the Browns made that turned out to be bad and plenty of people thought Jefferson didn't have anything left Think I've been pretty good about City moves too Edit: I'm dumb you're talking about JT/Cardale. Check the tapes I said I thought the offense would look good under JT, I just also thought they'd turn it around with Cardale
Corch has every right to be acting like a smug cunt right now, and heaven knows, he is certainly going to revel in it. With that said, I don't think anyone really expected Jefferson to show this level of activity and effectiveness. I know it's early, but this team, when healthy, looks like it could just Godzilla its way through the East in the Playoffs.
The chemistry on defense and the ball movement are sticking out. Delly had 5/5/10 tonight and was +23
Eh, not ready to fully commit to basketball yet. Haven't watched the last two games. Glad we are playing well early, but again, nothing matters until the calendar reads 2016.
Shockingly, I always find it possible to follow both the Cavs and the Buckeyes this time of year. Easy for me to turn of an early regular season Cavs game to watch a good CFB game in the off chance both games are on simultaneously. With that said, I don't care much for the NFL. That may play a factor.
the browns can go fuck themselves. i hope they lose by a thousand tomorrow and the entire team feels really bad about themselves and the franchise decides to forfeit the rest of the season
That's how you dagger a team in the 4th. Jesus. Team didn't wake up until the second half tonight, but running the offense through Love is a lot of fun to watch.
