He's deep inside his own head right now at the line. Gotta hope it doesn't come down to ATL hacking him to end the game.
I think they'll be fine no matter how this one ends. They're hurting right now, and still grinding. The trades Grif made continue to look brilliant.
I'm working under the assumption that Kyrie isn't coming back this series, so I really hope they close G2 out, because it could be hard to win 3 of 5 games without Kyrie if the Hawks steal one here.
I'd honestly be surprised to see him play on Sunday regardless of the outcome of this game. He just had nothing to give in Game 1, and flying down to Florida this morning certainly isn't a great sign.
Ugh this is great but so frustrating. If we had everyone right now I'd feel so good about our chances against a team like Golden State
I want to see if we get close this one by double digits. Can't just get complacent here... this is ATL's season in the next 18 mins.
True, this is a Cleveland team after all. Also, give me my like in Celemo's picture thread that I tagged you in
Cavs have so many big decisions to make this summer. It's going to be interesting to see who they prioritize
I do think Love will be back. Hopefully Andy is open to renegotiate. JR and Iman would be silly to leave. I'm pretty sure JR has a player option for next year
Eh, I'm fine with keeping starters in until the 3 minute mark and crushing any chance of ATL getting a rhythm. Maybe Shump was the only one I would have taken out ~2-3 mins earlier.
All I know for sure is that the cap is significantly increasing in the next year or two, so I would think we'd be fine if everyone wants in...
Yeah, that's where I'm at too. I know we have Bird Rights on Love, that's about it. Great win on the road.
Well, the issue with that logic is the cap goes up for every team. Yes, every player is going to get paid more, but that also means teams with cheaper rosters will be able to pay more than the Cavs for players like Thompson.
It's for 2016. There will be a new cba and their tv contract is expected to be much much bigger. The players are expected to get a big cut
dukebuckeye Please tell me you are going to get tickets to Game 3 or 4. Be warned, your Man Card is on the line.
They can keep everyone because you can go over the cap by keeping your own guys as long as Dan pays. So we are fine in that sense. But with Kyrie extension starting next year we will be instantly at the cap so any moves not on our team will have to be via trade which we still have Haywords contract.
Hey Bazemore...go home, you're drunk. Hawks' Kent Bazemore: 'I still think we're the better team' http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/201.../kent-bazemore-says-atlanta-hawks-better-team
I know Dan has a shit ton of money but I would think that we would be huge over the salary cap and a repeater so that bumps up the tax as well.
Yea our salary cap as repeaters will be crazy if we resign all the players with a love max and shump and Tt raises.
Trading Haywood and getting Andy to renegotiate would be absolutely huge. I'd ask Andy to take a much smaller salary next year then make it up to him when the cap jumps
Don't think AV is useless. Why are we looking to dump him? Mozgov, AV, TT and Love is a nice front court next year. But, my guess is Love is not back. On a different note - When you consider Love, AV and Irving - 3 major pieces in October - are all out or very limited it is really amazing this team is 2 games from the Finals. LBJ, man.
