OptaJoe @OptaJoe 14m14 minutes ago 2 - Everton's only previous comeback win from 2+ goals down in the Premier League came in May 1994 at home to Wimbledon. Chance.
And such a lovely time to play Liverpool with them having a Europa match on Thursday. Hopefully Stones will be back.
If Galloway keeps playing at the same level, I don't think he can justifiably be benched whenever Baines gets healthy. I wonder if Garbutt's agent is already looking for a new club for him. I know he is supposed to be a CB long term but I really like him where he is right now.
First time Everton has ever done it, or first time anyone has? Both are kind of unbelievable for as long has they've been playing soccer.
The chatter regarding Neymar maybe leaving Barca has me worried about them using the "buy back" clause in the contract two years down the line. Gerry underwhelming with his time at Sevilla may end up being one the best things to ever happen to Everton.
da fuck is this shit Rom? Lukaku reveals Wenger dream Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has admitted that it's his dream to play for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger someday, but first wants a chance to impress former boss Jose Mourinho. According to a report in the Mirror, the Belgian international was asked to list the coaches he would most like to play for. "Mourinho is one. [Pep] Guardiola and Wenger. In this order," he reportedly told Belgian magazine Le Vif. The Belgian international, who transferred to Everton from Chelsea for £28 million in 2014, never got a chance to show his stuff at Chelsea. Instead, he spent the majority of his three years at the club on loan spells with West Brom or Everton club before finally sealing the big money move to Merseyside. Since, he's helped Roberto Martinez & Co. rise to fifth in the league standings this season, but, with Thursday's admission, he could now be open to other options.
Probably something that awful agent of his wanted him to say now that his stock has gone up in the past week. I wish he'd just lie and say that he wants to stay at Everton forever and the only other club he'd consider playing for is the future MLS team in Atlanta.
Without cheating, I bet none of you can guess which Everton player made the 59 player shortlist for the 2015 Ballon d'Or.
John Stones...not because of his play but because the committee has a sense of humor and also think it's as funny as us when Mourinho is mad.
If I wanted to make it a real trick question, I would have said two 2015 Everton players made the list.
now youve made me look at the whole list. thats not a wayne rooney joke is it? Also TWO MLS PLAYERS!!!!
'Tis Rooney. There are a handful of hilarious candidates on the list from the Premier League alone. Rooney, Ospina, Bony, Yaya, the mystery player, and Massimo Luongo from Swindon.
Also it's really unfair they give all of the votes that say "Messi" to that Argentine guy when obviously many are referring to the Scottish one.
I know it, didn't look it up but Twitter told me this morning before I read the thread. To call him a player is pretty strong IMO
