went to the local (usually mediocre) brewpub -- Copper Creek. They had an Oak-Aged Abbey that was very, very nice. I drank 5 of those and an Irish Stout on nitro.
If any of you GA guys get an extra See the Stars and want to swap it for some Casey or Jester King stuff. Hit me up. I really want to track down a bottle of it.
I'll let you know if I can grab some (aside from 2 for myself) at stores, since I'll be beaching that weekend.
Really wish the release could've been a couple weeks earlier. Our game is at 3:30 that day, and it'll be tough to go to that and get back home for the game. Praying some hits stores.
Unfortunately no, we met at FSU and actually attended the 2013 BCS Championship victory by the Noles together.
I saw some girl I knew from Auburn from FL on FB posting about her sister getting engaged in the past day or so. I was there too
I'd highly recommend getting each of the hopsavants. It's amazing how much each differed based on the hop used. My favorite was the galaxy, while my friend liked the pacifica.
Meant to post these photos from my trip to Avery on Sunday... Bourgon Barrel aged Reverend in the snifter, Maharaja in the sampler. Left to right: GORED, Collaboration Not Litigation, Hog Heaven Canning White Rascal. Pretty sweet catwalk over the entire brewery that you can check out while sippin' on sweet nectar.
Thinking about going. Auburn plays Jacksonville State and UGA is away at Vandy. Got nothing else going on from 11:00-1:00. Tickets are $75.
apparently there were only 150 tickets accounting for around half of the bottles (now saying 660 total) the rest will be available at the brewery for $30+glass for one or $60+glass for two
Modern Times Societe Ballast Point Stone Alpine Belching Beaver AlesSmith Coronado Those are all off the top of my head
yeah i knew the big ones like ballast point, stone, coronado. have to read up on those others. i think ill be staying in el cajon but might snag a hotel down in actual san diego for a couple of nights or something
Fuck me...damnit I want to try Pupil from Societe. Got invited out to San Diego for this week with friends last month...wife and I had to turn it down because she's 36 weeks pregnant. Free condo and all...fock.
You are closer to Alpine in that case, so thatis a must. I think they moved to a newer location which is nice as the original is tiny.
Word. I'm planning on being around for 9 days or so. Wedding feb 6th, so the weekend before is probably when i'll arrive. I know you're kinda far but if you have any reason to be down that way lets have some more beers
Trillium, Nightshift, Jack's Abby.. Trillium's tap room is probably your best bet as it's accessible by public transit. It's not a "tour" per se.
An hour, give or take. Their hours are short though, only Thursday/Friday/Saturday generally. I did see they just put Julius cans up. Hope they last until next Saturday, since we'll be by on our way to a wedding.
