This game is why I hate English teams that park the bus against good teams. What's the point of playing for 0-0? Going to enjoy Southampton this year I think, already kind of hoping they stay up.
big fan of Southampton first PL game against the league champs and they played their ass of and werent intimidated.
I'm pretty torn on who to relegate. After the 1st week, the league seems exponentially better top to bottom than in recent years. I'm afraid Hughton won't be able to work his magic with Norwich. Who the hell is supposed to score for them? Holt can't keep up his pace and I don't think he wants to be there anymore. QPR could be anywhere from relegation fodder to a 11-12 placed team. Predictions were tough this year.
Stoke's season hinges on Michael Kightly's ankles. Dude could hold down on a top 6 team if he could stay healthy.
Late but here goes: 1- City 2- Newcastle 3- United 4- Chelsea 16- West Ham 18-Stoke 19-Wigan 20-QPR Somewhat out there prediction, Last manager to get sacked: Big Sam. Although he keeps West Ham up, due to Swindon Town going from League 2 to the Championship in two years the Davids bring in

Chelsea 1-1 Reading after Hazard drew a penalty which Lampard converted, and a hell of a header from Pogrebnyak. Aaaaaand Special Petr strikes to make it 2-1 Reading.

Another one of the bright young stars from England goes down injury. Gary Gardner done for the season. Was really hoping to see him get a run in the first team for Villa. http://www.avfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10265~2899214,00.html
Michu is my favorite non-Arsenal player in the league right now he is what I dream to be as a striker
It was a great goal, not a whole lot you can do, defender should have made a better effort at clearing it though.
