Glad parasite was such a big hit. Hope it starts making Korean shit hot. They've been good for a long time.
Squid Game put Netflix on notice about the potential of South Korean entertainment. If Park Chan-wook didn’t show them…..I guess it’s better late than never.
The wife and I are pretty into South Korean series. Squid games was good, but we liked Kingdom, Sweet Home, and Silent Sea more. Going to start this tonight, can’t wait.
I’m through 4 episodes and I’m curious where the plot goes considering there are still 8 more episodes
Something bothering me, but show is good Spoiler ="Up to Episode 5"Why didn't Gwi-nam turn in the cafeteria when all the blood goes in his mouth? They seem to establish later on with the handkerchief in the cuts that it isn't just bites and obviously he mutates later on when he is actually bit
just finished the final ep Spoiler Overall I really liked it. Not sure I would say it's top tier or excellent, but still really good. I'm not really sure what could have been cut out but being at the school for 10 episodes felt long/repetitive to me. And also this is probably cultural but being in high school and saying you like someone doesn't mean you should sacrifice yourself when they are a zombie. Just kill the zombie. Kinda feels like they left it open for a second season if they choose to do so
Just finished. I think they will definitely do a second season. That ending was way to much of a cliffhanger, and they certainly teased that maybe someone or some people we know may have been turned to halfies (vambies). I really enjoyed it. I’m glad I know where you poop during a zombie apocalypse when your peers are nearby. I never would have known that if I decided to skip this. I was surprised by the final couple of episodes. I didn’t expect some of those deaths. Thought there may be a happier ending, but hey we still have useless pink sweater girl number 2.
