I’m sad to report that bacon guy “had fallen off the wagon and was breaking his diet but is now committed”. He is back on keto and had bacon this morning. Lunch is a Big Mac salad he is making with a Big Mac and maybe 2 pieces of lettuce.

Correct More people visiting than the office could hold. A Coworker that sits in a different city who is nice but can be a little neurotic jwalked into my office and complained about things for 20 minutes. She then proceeded to whip out her laptop and start taking work calls at my desk. That was what led to my initial post. I had to kick her out when I had a firedrill come up. The executives arrived after a two hour meeting and I have been voluntold to sit on a three person panel that afternoon for a company wide meeting that gets broadcasted to every other associate not there in person (Pile Driving Miss Daisy ie those that sit in different footprints). I hate public speaking, and just got home from said meeting and peeled off my sweaty clothes. Just a busy day not adding any shareholder value!

I hate my boomer direct reports so much. One of them has been IMing me for the last 20 minutes because someone on our team took off yesterday and today. He works on his days off (which I have to force him to take or he'll start losing ETO) because his wife hates him. I can't wait until his review next month when I get to tell him he won't be getting a raise for the 3rd straight year. It's the little things.
My wife is currently dealing with a coworker who messed up a project and instead of just fixing it is using the “I got hacked” excuse and saying someone got on her computer and messed it up. All because they don’t want to go back and fix everything. It’s not like they’re in trouble but is ready to die on this hill apparently.
