This may be stupid but one of the question's I have is who is walt running from and then too in the beginning of episode 1. He is operating under a false identity that means the normal life that he has been trying to live has gone to shit in one way or another. He also has drastically changed his appearance which makes me think cops not cartel (or some type of "bad guys"). The machine gun also leans towards he is dealing with the situation directly where in other cases he has manipulated others to do the dirty work. He was always protecting himself by manipulating others but now he doesn't want/have to. I don't see a reason to go guns blazing against the cops which makes me think cartel. Something drastic has to happen to bring him back after his time away. My guess is Skyler goes to the brother in law for protection after Walt gets them in trouble with the cartel or some other bad guys. Walt runs and abandons the family. Bad guys kill the family since they can't find walt. MB has a giant circle jerk because skyler is dead. Walt comes back for revenge and ultimately his death. I am just trying to figure out a scenario where he runs away for what seems like a significant period of time and then comes back guns blazing. This might be an incoherent rant b/c I have been staring at a computer screen studying.

 

Who is that? I remember they had a bassnectar song in the episode where Jesse turns his house back into party house.

 

not a stupid question at all. in fact, its currently the biggest mystery in the show but we just have no idea. and thats not a bad idea

I have a hard time thinking they're going to bring another 'villian' into the show. Gus was such a perfect foe for Walt that they won't do that again. I really think they'll go the Scarface route in which Walt's biggest enemy is himself. His arrogance and delusion will set Jesse and Mike against him along with Skylar and Hank (at some point). Hank has to find out at some point too so I wouldn't be shocked if it comes to one of them having to decide whether or not to kill/arrest the other

 

Thought the bacon for #50 was made of tofu or some shit.

It's sad I just finished season 4 and really want to talk about this show but don't want to be spoiled. Have all the season 5 episodes so far recorded so hoping I can jump into those over the next couple of days.

I have a friend who has 2 episodes left in season 4 and I'm excited for him. If you can get thru the next 4 episodes this week I'd recommend it. Only show I watch live with commercials. And Vince Gilligan says next episode is going to be awesome

 

Going on vacation on Thursday so I want to get caught up before then. Knocked out the last 3 episodes last night. Loved the scene where Walt figured out Skyler took half of the money and he's laughing maniacally while Marie leaves the message about the DEA being at their house.

Also awesome the way they showed Walt poisoned the kid. Love watching him change to such a likable character to just as bad if not worse than Gus. It sucks though because with the way he's going he's going to die at the end or kill himself or something.

I want the ending to be Walt Jr. pointing a gun at Walt and saying fu....fu..fu....fu.....fuck you Dad and then killing him followed by asking Skyler for pancakes.

 

easily one of my favorite scenes in TV history. in case you didn't catch it, thats the scene when walter white dies (he's in his box/coffin at the end) and its heisenberg who gets out of the crawl space

What I have been mulling over in my mind from the first ep of this season is Walt's hair. As Heisenberg he shaves his head, as we saw last ep. Is it possible that something causes Walt to walk/run away and come around as Walter White again so he grows his hair back, only to be dragged back in to save Skyler/Junior/Holly or Jesse or Hank. So instead of a kill everybody move its a save everybody move. If that is the case, my money is on saving Jesse.

 

I hate dubstep music with a passion but that knife party song was sick.
