So I just noticed Walt was still wearing his wedding ring. Rewound to the beginning and he wasn't wearing it. My guess: Shit goes bad for him and this is the cliffhanger going into next summer.

so the computer was damaged but my questions would be 1. was that the right computer or did gus have multiple laptops? maybe he had one he took home 2. was the hard drive wiped out or was it just externally damaged

Before I go back to ranting against AMC I will say I liked this episode. I just realized I'm sure this is the account paying Walt so guessing that becomes the looming legal threat but I would have thought he was paid in cash.
I liked it much more than most of them tbh. The opening scene leaves so many possibilities out there. I also suspect that unlike previous seasons this season will see a lot more time pass by (all but confirmed it with opening scene). My first guess, that gun will be used to try and take out Hank.
No chance the computer's hard drive survived a magnet that powerful but I doubt that was the only copy they had of the tapes. Probably going to involve Hank at some point.
i can't remember if there was an explanation for it for last season but as thorough as walt is i find it hard to believe that the camera footage just slipped his mind not really a big deal show is badass
