Didn't make it to the parade but I'm going to try to get back to the Bridge before I leave and try to see the trophying Still have no voice but so
Hulk plays on the wing, so in terms of a center forward, Torres would be the guy. Lukaku and Sturridge aren't ready to assume that role. http://www.epltalk.com/podcasts/2012/chelseans-of-europe-epl-talk-special-podcast-42957 Just started listening to this pod. Pretty good thus far. They're talking about Drogba's future as I type this.
No clue. Too hard to say at this point. I do think the Hulk rumors have some teeth. The misinformation out there is hard to wade through.
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/s...riker-romelu-lukaku-seeking-loan-exit?cc=5901 He's still pretty damn young. Probably didn't help him that he went from playing first team football in Belgium to playing 6 games as a sub in the epl and mainly in reserve games. That being said the kid is still going to be a beast.
I wouldn't mind seeing Lukaku go out somewhere, as long as he was playing regularly. He should've been somewhere this season.
I just think with Drogba likely gone, there will be a lot more opportunities for him to play. If we loan him out and Torres gets hurt, we would be fucked.
Maybe, Maybe not. Already buying Marin and hopefully Hulk. We are gonna have to make it rain on Porto to get Hulk, so I don't think we will sign that many players this summer.
Lots of Hazard to Chelsea rumors in the 32-26 mil region. Of course that means absolutely nothing, who would you rather have though, Hulk or Hazard?
I'm very skeptical hippo that we get him. I'm also skeptical that Man U will get him. I think he ends up at City.
Yeah and they are all flexible enough to play in all three spots Still think you could spend 35 mil and get something better than Hulk Still jealous though
Chelsea have had a €40 million (£32.3m) bid for Sao Paolo starlet Lucas Moura rejected, but remain favourites to sign him, according to the Brazilian club’s president. http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896...323m-lucas-bid-rejected-but-remain-favourites
I think Roman wants Torres to be our featured striker of the future and as long as Drogba was there (and playing better), Torres was never going to get consistent starts and be "the man."
Just read through Spurs thread. Made my night. Some classic posts in there. One had a feeling about Gomez coming up big....
Hulk's agent is definitely trying to drum up interest. 32 million (which was allegedly denied) for an unproven Brazilian? Yikes. The Falcao move doesn't make sense to me. We could have had him for half of that last summer. I am fine with keeping Torres and giving him a shot at being the guy. Use the cash to get midfielders/wingers and a RB.
the RB position is one where I dont know of too many targets other than Van Derwiel Yall have a wish list at RB?
