I follow a lot of Wolves fans on Twitter and I'll never understand why any of them like Zubar. He's dog shit. He's slow as fuck and has a dreadful touch.
At this point, I'm almost certain our season is done. I hope teams just pile on goals and we go down with a whimper. There's nothing to like about this year's team. Here's to just hoping some academy players get called in, and we start over young and can build like a Swansea/Blackpool/Norwich.
Yeah it is getting ugly now. They started the game pretty well actually but it has been all downhill since. United is going to try and pour it on to make up the GD with City.
And we're gonna do everything to help them with that endeavor. As I see it, we have 2 winnable games left. Bolton and Wigan.
The more, the merrier. I want it piled on at this point. Something has to get through to our management. They've put together one of the worst Prem teams in a long time this year. We're Derby County level bad right now.
Wolves Flow Chart -------------------------Did Wolves win today? -------- Yes -------- Liar||No||Did everyone else?||Yes||
Sell all top talent, restart with the new stadium, and a new manager. sell the players and give the new guy a little transfers $ and let him do what he wants
Absolutely agree. I hope we can keep Guedioura, Fletcher, Jarvis, Davis, Hennessey, Henry, and Ward. Everyone else can fuck off. First players I want to see out the door are Milijas, Foley, Berra, Stearman, Zubar, Doyle, Hunt, and Johnson. Only players I'm afraid of losing are Guedioura, Jarvis, and Fletcher though.
But yea, we need to blow up the team and find some experienced, technically sound players. I don't give two fucks if they're the young, hungry players that Mick wanted. Once we get back up, if the players aren't working out, bring in new guys for fuck sake. We hit a point this season where we were starting 10 players that started in our Championship run. 3 years after the fact. They obviously weren't working out, but we decided never to invest a fucking dime in the team. Who'd we bring in in January to help? An Icelandic international that can't contribute a single fucking minute to the team. We fucked up Frimpong's development significantly. And Bassong has gone to absolute waste on this team.
Hell, neither could Arsenal against QPR. Went into the weekend thinking this would happen and we'd be in striking distance of safety. Bolton 26 QPR 25 Wigan 25 Wolves 25 Instead, every match went against us and now we need every team to stand still and get 7 points from 3 games just to have a shot. We're fucked beyond belief. I don't mind going down to the NPC because we're financially stable and I believe we'll have what it takes to make the jump back up the next season. I just hate the way we're going down without an ounce of fight.
Looks like Pompey's going down again. The 5-1 curb stomping we gave them Saturday did nothing to improve their prospects.
Nope... I wouldn't expect us to go over 6-7 for anyone this window. We are in desperate need of wingers though... especially if Pennant gets moved on.
Charlie Adam sucks dick on a team that sucks dick. He needs to be in the position where he is the best player on the team. He gets lost if he's not.
Word round town is that Burnley's likely going to have to sell Jay Rodriguez and might be in the market for Sam Vokes...
Good. We've been trying to offload him for a while. I think he should've had a crack at first team football but we're too fucking stubborn to bench a player if he isn't producing.
Stoke are set to make a £6m summer swoop for Wolves winger Matt Jarvis. Paul Ince wants the Wolves job and he'd take it right now. Roger Johnson is in danger of losing the captain's armband after his spat with Wayne Hennessey. David Davis says several cubs are ready to answer the call next season. We'll be seeing a lot of him, Johnny Gorman, Anthony Forde. Danny Batth, Matt Doherty, and (if we don't offload) Sam Vokes could see quite a bit of playing time as well. I vote yes. Let the up-and-comers work their game in the Championship, even if it means we're floundering in the bottom half for a season, make some money off of our top players that aren't going to stay, and reinvest that money in some young, proven Championship players. When we get back to the Prem, hope to God we have some new scouts that won't bring in players like Roger fucking Johnson. I'd say it's pivotal we hold onto Karl Henry, give him the armband back, and let him control the flow of midfield. I would love to see him and Davis working together, as well as Guedioura.
I'd put our chance of survival at about 0.00% at this point. Good god we really are worse than Derby County's last go at the Prem.
Stephen Hunt acts like it's news that there's infighting in the locker room. Jesus Christ our players are clueless.
