Good loss. Already 3 extra inning wins and it's good not to get too far ahead on that kind of karma stuff.
Offense has scored 1 or less runs through 9 innings in 3 of 6 games. Only one game they scored more than 3, and that game was tied after 9. It's really remarkable the team is 5-1. Good pitching and bad opponents I guess help. Offense really needs to pick it up though or the wheels going to fall off quick
This Sears guy gets hammered by left-handed hitters. Maybe DH Carpenter and put Canha in the OF instead of going with Limp Bat Matt as your leadoff hitter. Although this does give Hinch the chance to look like a pinch hit master when he bats Kerry late in a 0-0 game.
I think Hinch saw LHP and went with his full righty lineup. Despite JP Sears having drastic reverse splits as an MLB pitcher.
