Pretty cool to know that a UC alum is on a World Cup roster. He is there vice captain but unfortunately he broke his arm and wasnt able to play in their first game.

I know that most of them went right from HS to a development program (e.g. Bradley went to the Metros U18 team) but did any play for a US college? The only Rutgers alum I can think of is Alexi Lalas. I don't know whether I should be proud of that, though.
