No one could tell me for sure what almost killed me. My personal opinion is it was the vaccine and I'm sure that's what sways my opinion on that topic.
which was exactly my point. If you had just ignored the first comment I wouldn’t have asked the question I did and this wouldn’t have occurred. You only have yourself to blame.
just looking at it logically the odds that is was the vaccine and not the deadly virus are extremely low.
I think they've only even casually linked a handful of deaths to the vaccine out of 600+ million doses
I forget the actual percentage but I remember the actual number of people who are allergic to vaccine is so low it’s not worth mentioning. In all likelihood it’s confirmation bias. IIRC dukebuckeye didn’t you say the doctor told you it more than likely wasn’t the vaccine but the virus but he couldn’t be 100%?
I hear you. And I'm not dismissing that it may have been covid. Just crazy timing for a relatively healthy male with no cardiovascular history to out of nowhere develop myocarditis four weeks after getting the first dose of vaccine.
Oh goodness, your a level of stupid even I didn’t think you were at. Do you know what the statistical likelihood is that the vaccine almost killed you? .6%, compared to .5% with placebo.
he didn’t want to get the vaccine he was forced to and got sick so obviously he was right and the vaccine was bad.
Autocorrect is a bitch. Or I fucked it. Either way, still smart enough to know there is little to no chance that a covid vaccine will kill me
you are drawing a conclusion that goes dramatically against empirical probability for ??? reasons isn't a different opinion, it's just you choosing a conspiratorial option for an obvious one just going "well thats my opinion" is dullard shit
It's not merely just having a different opinion in this case. This isnt like having a conversation about if that color is purple or fuchsia. Id be interested to hear why you think it was the vaccine beyond suspicious timing. Did you have a conversation with your doctor that lead you to this belief? Did you do your own research? Just curious.
"Myocarditis is rare, but when it occurs, it is most commonly caused by an infection in the body. Infections from viruses (most common, including those that cause the common cold, influenza or COVID-19), bacteria, fungus or parasites can lead to myocardial inflammation." Hm very curious can't figure this one out
but we aren’t we are simply pointing out that all the data points to it being the virus and not the vaccine. It’s not like there is a reasonable debate to be had. But, correct me if I’m wrong didn’t your doctor tell you it was mostly like the virus that almost killed you and not the vaccine but he couldn’t be 100% sure.
You are welcome to your opinion. Nobody is attacking you because your opinion is different. Everyone is just telling you that your opinion is dumb, which it is
iirc dukebuckeye ’s doctor told him it was more than likely the virus and not the vaccine but he couldn’t be 100% sure. Duke believed the vaccine was bad and didn’t want to get it. I’ll assume everyone he loved and trusted felt the same way. So instead of having to deal with and reexamine his belief system he decided that he must have been right all along.
It is entirely possible to have a different opinion that isn't stupid. Maybe dukebuckeye should try that sometime and see how it goes
I, for one, am terrified of this different opinion. What if all of reality is really just determined by your feels?
My personal opinion is that umbrellas cause rain, and all of you brain geniuses can’t handle a differing opinion. Just crazy timing that every time I see people with umbrellas walking around, rain comes out of nowhere. I am very smart.
The year is 2058. George Soros has reportedly died 2 decades earlier. I log into Facebook to mark myself "Safe" when Fox News talks about his evil master plan on tv.
I'm seriously at a loss that we have a regular poster on TMB in the year of our lord 2023 who is anti-vax. And thinks it's an opinion. My god.
He's doing the same thing that people do when their kid gets diagnosed with autism or are somewhere on the spectrum around the same time the MMR vaccine is administered. Timing is coincidental but they just absolutely can't admit the most obvious cause and have to blame vaccines. Such a weird cognitive response.
Just to be sure I understand what's going on, George Soros is evil because he donates to multiple political candidates. Do I have that right?
