This for the most part is true. But, I really enjoy Losers on a Saturday night. And I don't even really like country music....
Broadway is always fun. I have friends coming into town constantly so I'm down there more than I'd like to admit but I truth be told it's always a good time. Sooo many titties
BookManBookWoman to close after 12/31 It's not as cheap as McKay's but we used to walk over there from my dad's office just about every day after school in 5th and 6th grade so I have some real sentimental value attached to it. Fuck
That stinks...they always had 10+ graham greene books while most book stores are lucky to have a few.
Nsiap but someone carved a swastika into the door at West End United Methodist Church, presumably because they recently displayed signs welcoming gays etc
Was only a matter of a time. I've seen a few trucks flying confederate flags with trump stickers around Murfreesboro.
http://www.tennessean.com/story/new...tion-answer-swastika-vandalism-love/93793792/ Love West End United Methodist. It's the church I grew up going to and was the youth group president for (lol). Regardless, such an awesome response to hateful people and hateful ideologies.
All the $59 ones are obstructed views. I've only been to the Ryman once. Are they that obstructed or should I go with balcony seats?
Go with balcony. The obstructed seats will be behind columns, albeit not huge columns. But, unless you are in the front 10 rows of the floor, I like the balcony better.
Yall ever been to the Schermerhorn when the Symphony puts on a show like The Music of Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd? Im tempted to try the David Bowie one
just got done playing the Presidents at Hermitage. Probably last good golf day of the year. Its a crime not to play today if you could
Thats the way I feel about live college football games tomorrow. Today was perfect. It will be chilly with that wind rolling off the river in Neyland tomorrow.
If the weather channel holds up. Tuesday may be the last comfortable day to swing before it gets too cold yo
You can find me at Robert's Western World in about 6 hours, then we'll be walking over to the Preds game. Imagine there will be good crowd.
could be looking at a IU/UK Music City Bowl matchup that would bring a fuck load of folks to Nashville
Likely changed today, but as of the committee meetings last week, MCB was down to UGA and Auburn from the SEC.
Jax Teller THEBLUERAIDER @boro posters Finally ate brunch ate The Block today. Its worth a trip on Sunday morning. $10 buffet. they had a stuffing hot cake today that was delicious. I also heard the new burger place on the square is pretty good.
Yeah The Block has a pretty good brunch. Big fan, just in a shitty location. Love Jack Brown's Burgers. Relatively cheap and a pretty cool atmosphere. I've been there three times since it opened. Definitely hit it up.
Deafheaven at Mercy Lounge 3/8. Tickets on sale 12/2 at 8 AM MT Wish there were some decent shows between the 19th of December and January 2nd
Head up to Nashville from the 28th of December to January the 2nd. I'll be with a number of locals for NYE. But what would you recommend doing during my downtime (The person I'm staying with is a nurse and I'll probably have a day to myself)
I spent last weekend in Nashville and really enjoyed it. Ate the farm burger at the Pharmacy which was awesome. Spent way to much time wandering around the gaylord looking at Christmas lights with my family. Fine city you have.
Tailgate at the Music City Bowl Fri Dec 30th. Scalp a late cheap ticket, or hit up the bars across the river to watch.
I'm looking at accepting a job offer in Nolensville. Someone want to tell 30 year old Duck places to look at or avoid for a 12 month rent house? Prefer to be closer to Nashville but I have no idea what I'm doing currently. Also pimping myself out for friends who like smoked meat things and beer. Swipe right, please.
Rent here is ridiculously high as fuck. Good luck bro. Other than that... I love smoked meats and beer. Looking forward to popping your Nashville cherry.
My landlord is like 100 years old and I'm pretty sure she has no idea that rent is supposed to be high because my rent is cheap as shit
It already seemed like housing is limited and expensive. Nothing like Fort Worth. And I don't want to live out in Murfreesboro....
Apparently I though Penguin The Duck posted in the travel thread and gave him a link to the nashville thread, in the nashville thread. Well that was fun.
Murfreesboro isn't that bad man. Although if I could have afforded it I would have moved closer but I wanted to buy, not rent.
