So I am pretty sure that is a bourbon and there haven’t been many of those released yet. I haven’t seen that code yet though. Most ES are 65%malt 35% bourbon. I have one of those, but it’s KB, and I am waiting on another. So far compared to the value of the single barrel series, I would say it is a no, although it is the right price for that. In general so far, single barrel series are more readily available and excellent quality for almost half the price, although they are mostly 2 to 3 years younger. I really like mine, but again, not sure it is worth $200 if you aren’t obsessed with RC like I am. what does the front look like?
I would do HR7 at 150, I would NOT do HRY. All of the barrels of HR7 have now been distributed, so there will not be any new releases of that so the value will continue to go up. It's also delicious
RC TKO available for order, these are very good. $150 is the top end of retail, but I do think this expression is worth it https://whiskeycaviar.com/products/rare-character-single-barrel-series-the-sturgeon-rye
One ofeach for NYgator, Keef and Kentuckydawg. Then one for sugarshaun. SugarShaun - do you want the $79.99 or the $99.99? The 79.99 is the one from Wine Chap
4R SBBS this Saturday Ohio https://www.ohlq.com/ohlq-hub/news-...utm_content=view-details-button-red#locations
what's should be the first ben holladay i grab? i know im late, but finally saw what I am assuming are the 4 big ones together, the straight bourbon whiskey BIB, soft red wheat BIB, rickhouse, and red wheat rickhouse.
I prefer the sift red whet rickhouse but the BiB is good also. I haven't tried the others. They make a great product so hard to imagine going wrong with any.
that's what it seems like regarding they do a good job. i am not sure why it's taking me so long to pull the trigger, so i'll grab one next time i see one
also another random question for the board- anyone ever have the bulleit single barrel/ barrel select/10 year? bulleit was one of the first bourbons i liked 10ish years ago, but i have never tried their premium stuff.
I won't buy bulleit. Owner is an accused racist and anti-lgbtq. Called out by his gay daughter and his ex-distiller. "In a scathing series of Facebook posts last week, Bulleit, a lesbian, alleged she was kicked out of the family business due to homophobia. Neither Bulleit nor Diageo responded to requests for comment." https://www.forbes.com/sites/taranu...she-was-fired-for-coming-out/?sh=af618e149bd4
Fuck that guy. Local dive bar has legit $5 Old Fashioneds on Fridays with Bulleit. I'll be switching up going forward.
Yeah that bottle is insane. Came from a short barrel of only 42 bottles, NYGator and I were able to each get one when they dropped

Ohio guys - this was posted in an OHLQ discord group today: "Heard of a potential monster drop - OHLQ picks of WFP, Stagg, ER, EHT SIB, 1792, Jefferson’s cask and few others. 4 pm email 6 pm sale." No idea on validity but just wanted to share. SugarShaun
That's what was said. Again, I don't know the truth of it but just wanted to pass it along in case you wanted to pay attention later today.
The way Seelbachs ships stuff is so weird. Something I ordered weeks ago still hasn't shipped and something I ordered last week is due to arrive today.
What do you guys think about Kings County? I know NYGator snagged some single barrel of theirs recently but I was wondering if all their barrel proof stuff is worth snagging? I've seen it a couple of times but didn't know much about them. Do they source or is it their own distillate?
