Not sure how I feel about the Coop deal. Granted we saved 20 mil, but essentially did so for a 5th. I assume we will resign Cedrick. We need a good bit of draft capital to rebuild the OL and LB corps. I'd give a nut for Jordan Davis but he's going too early for our purposes.
I understand the return for Cooper was never going to be great but just a 5th round pick is atrocious. Your going to tell me thats the best we could get? I would have thought for sure a 3rd or a couple 4ths would or some combo would have been possible. Hopefully we learn from the Zeke deal and no longer feel the need to give crazy deals to Rb's.
We added 16 mil in cap space to get rid of Cooper. We would lose cap space if we got rid of Zeke now because his dead cap number is higher than his cap hit.
Hopefully they give Jason Peters and someone like Bulaga or Solder a call to start at LT and be the swing tackle.
Not surprised. Gave away Cooper for nothing didn't even attempt to replace him. Don't have a lot of weapons.
They are not even attempting to be good this year. They’re using the next two years to reset their cap
Regretting my ticket purchase for next week. At least I'll have a shit load of shrooms for Red Hot Chili Peppers
Dak fucking sucks lol at all the articles about him being in the best shape ever and having such a great off-season
I kind of expected this. Just had the feel of a 4-5 win season for whatever reason. Let's just tank and go hire Sean Payton with a high draft pick in hand.
I really Like the 1-2 punch at RB. Zeke looks like he’s running hard. Pollard has to motivate him, bc Pollard could easily be RB1 for them
Peters coming in at guard and immediately springing a big run. The young LT playing decent. The line coming together would be huge
Former Cowboys TE Gavin Escobar died in a rock climbing accident in California on Wednesday, according to the USA Today. He was 31.
