With my limited knowledge on how the EPL works - Im surprised they loaned out Garbutt w how thin our back line is
It was more than likely one of his demands when he signed his new contract a couple weeks ago. You gotta respect how badly he wants to play on a regular basis. I guess Fulham will be my Championship team to pull for with him and Emerson Hyndman.
I figured stones was still a year or two away from all this talk, but I guess maybe he is this years english golden boy? also kind of surprised that all the talk about super kev died down, felt like he was the most sure thing to leave this summer and there he is.
But is that saying much? It's hilarious how pretty much every pundit thinks Kane last year was a flash in the pan.
did they sneak in the umbro factory under the cover of darkness or something? those look sexy though.
grandoldteam Jose Mourinho has ruled out a third bid for John Stones. #Everton https://t.co/e6ho97fu57 7/31/15, 12:37 PM
I know it's expensive but I order my stuff from the club. I feel like that's the only true way I can show monetary support since I can't go to games
Same here. Sadly most of that money goes to Mike Ashley but at least we don't have to worry about him using it to make Newcastle better.
I haven't kept up at all since last season ended. What do you guys think about this year? Players you expect more from and so forth? Schedule looks kind of difficult early on, but may be a good thing to catch some teams before they get things figured out.
Like I said in the EPL thread. If we lose Rom we are fucked. Kone is hot shit and you can only get so much out of Naismith (Who really needs Rom in order to be good). Martinez says we are looking for another ST, a #10, and CB. So if Charlie Austin is that ST, then I'll feel much better. I think we can finish anywhere from 7-14, depending on injuries.
It was pretty remarkable how bad he was last year. I think he let the World Cup stuff get to his head. Remember when he blatantly handled the ball outside the box and didn't even get called for it? That was horrendous.
I'm gonna be so nervous. If we don't get three points, I feel like the season will already be over considering the next 8 matches.
yup. remember it clearly. good thing for US that Brad Guzan would never purposely handle it outside the box. Spoiler oh....right
Timmy was shit, but so was the whole defense to be fair. He had to stop way too many 1v1 chances last year
I thought he fell on top of the ball with his chest without using his hands, luckily the ref had a good angle
The English Premier League is a getting a new network home in the U.S.—at least on Saturdays. NBC plans to announce on Thursday that USA Network, part of the NBC Universal group, will air a weekly Premier League match throughout the 2015-16 season. Most of the USA Network matches will air on Saturdays in the 10 a.m. ET window. USA Network’s first telecast will be this Saturday at 10 a.m. ET, featuring Watford at Everton. For the season, USA Network is expected to televise more than 40 weekend Premier League games. That means there will be two live matches on most Saturdays for the 10 a.m. ET window, with games on NBCSN and USA. As previously reported, the networks of NBCUniversal will present at least five games each week in the season’s first two months on NBC and NBCSN, with all games preceded and followed by Premier League Live pre- and post-match shows. All remaining Premier League matches will be made available on Premier League Extra Time.
I think Kev was surprised at the lack of interest from other clubs. I just hope we can keep him happy. He's no good to us when he's moping around.
Charlie Austin for £12 million is what I'm seeing. Hopefully it really is done. That would be a huge lift
