Can't see him overtaking Rashford, honestly. Rashford did it at a pretty high level in the premier league, it will take Breel awhile to adjust coming from Switzerland. Definitely a good prospect though. The United board clearly let Mourinho know that youth would be a priority.
Fair point, Rashford definitely has a leg up with experience. I would just take it as a sign that Mou doesn't have full faith in him. It's well documented that one or two bad performances can put a player in his doghouse forever. Feel like that could happen quickly if he had another young striker waiting in the wings, especially one that he personally bought.
2016/17 Premier League fixtures. I'm on mobile so just go to their official twitter if the image isn't sized correctly.
De Gea set a new international record of 443 minutes without conceding a goal in a competitive match yesterday.
If Ibra is indeed signing with us then I would imagine that news is announced in the next week or so now that Sweden has been eliminated from the Euros. I saw reports that he was waiting for his PSG contract to officially expire so he can collect some kind of loyalty bonus, so that could hold it up too.
ESPNFC picking up a story from the Mirror saying that United have been given the green light by Real Madrid to sign James Rodriguez for $50m. Rodriguez shares an agent with the special one and recently put his home on the market.
ESPNFC also reported just 2 days ago that Zidane had changed his mind about selling James Rodriguez. Pretty sure Perez loves James so that's one rumor that I would have to see to believe.
He's not even their top backup, has to be for sale. They'll probably want what they paid for him though, sure Woodward will make it happen.
If Madrid is about to drop a ridiculous amount of coin on Pogba, moving James makes sense. They have the money to keep James sure, but why would any team spend that kind of money on a guy literally buried in the depth chart when another squad is interested? MEN I think it was has run a story saying that Pogba is still a priority for Jose but I just dont see it happening.
James feels way more realistic to me. Real is going to look to free up easy money to break the bank for Pogba, and he's it.
AS in Spain is reporting that we are willing to meet Juve's asking price plus pay a huge commission to his agent. I just have a hard time believing that he would go to a team that won't be in the CL next season. *I will be refusing to use his name directly for fear of putting any bad karma out into the universe.
Apparently a ton of bets came in on Draxler to Man U last night. A German book maker had to drop the odds to 3-1.
I would be thrilled with an off season transfer window involving Ibra, Mkhitaryan and Draxler. Like absolutely over the moon
Add Bailly's potential to this and we've got a stew going. Could see us signing another CB or a LB/RB too.
Man, it sure is nice to be able to sign our top priorities with Jose as manager. Glad the cluster fucks of the past 2 managers negotiations are a thing of the past. Now bring us Pogba and Draxler.
IDC if he doesn't score a single goal this season. The experience he can share with guys like Martial, Rashford, and Memphis (providing he isnt sold) is worth 10 times more than anything United could pay him.
At this point to we expect Memphis to be sold? I haven't seen anything lately since Mou was hired. I hope we keep him. At worst he is a back up to Martial on the left, at best he gets in form under Mou and we're able to rotate Martial/Mkhitaryan/Memphis on the wings and Rashford/Ibra/Martial up top (assuming Mou rolls with his favorite formation).
I don't think Memphis' style of play fits the Prem. Hang onto him until someone offers you a tidy sum and then sell.
Mkhitaryan is now a done deal according to Dortmund. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...etes-manchester-united-move-borussia-dortmund
The last setnece in the BVB release... The paths of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan and (27) separate from this summer. BVB has complied after intensive discussions the wish of the Armenian national team member, to the new season to join the English Table Fifth last season, Manchester United,. "This transfer was for us on the basis of an entirely new starting situation a difficult balancing advance: Manchester has made us a tremendous value containing offer. Had we knocked it, the player would be 2017 changed free. And we have the personnel issue postponed by only one year, "said Hans-Joachim Watzke (CEO). Borussia Dortmund Henrikh Mkhitaryan wishes for the coming season in both the Premier League and in the UEFA Europa League all the best.
The butt-hurt is strong. They did the same thing when Gundogan left for City saying he "chose to leave the 8-time champions of Germany for City, who finished 4th in the EPL"
So apparently Chris Smalling is in the hospital in Bali after being stung by a jellyfish while surfing.
I know transfer rumors are crazy, but the daily mail has been reporting Pogba to Man U is likely to happen.
No way. Pogba et al are playing United to get as much from Real Madrid as possible. I do believe that RM are going to have to move someone though to remain in compliance with FFP. And if that could possibly net us someone like James, I'd be happy with that.
