seeing Court McGee and Chris Camozzi on the same card was not something I was not looking forward to. 1. How is Camozzi still not a journeyman in Bellator? 2. Love Dennis Bermudez. Loved seeing him smash Rony Jason. Nothing against Jason. I don't dislike him. 3. Weird seeing a FightPass matchup as a main event 4. 49-46 card for Caceres was wtf card of the night. 48-47 for the other dude for sure.
Conor called WWE wrestlers pussies during the media call the other day, some wrestlers and fans get all worked up, then Conor replies to them. Conor McGregor @TheNotoriousMMA 10h10 hours ago I didn't mean no disrespect to the @wwe fans. What I meant to say was that I'd slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sunday's.
Georges St-Pierre isn't interested in any exemption. The former UFC welterweight champion told Bloody Elbow in an interview this week that he has enrolled in the USADA drug-testing program ahead of his impending UFC comeback. Unlike the waiver granted by the UFC to Brock Lesnar absolving him of four months of testing after coming out of retirement and before stepping in the Octagon, St-Pierre said he wanted to do things by the book. GSP said he'll be enrolled in the UFC's anti-doping program beginning Wednesday. "I don't want to be an exception, because I was very outspoken about performance-enhancing drugs," St-Pierre told writer Ram Gilboa. It would be bad for my reputation if I would have an exemption — I don't want to have a free pass, I want to be like everybody else. That's why I'll be starting the process Aug 10. I don't have any fight yet, but it's gonna happen now, because I'm getting tested, if I'm getting tested it's for a reason." St-Pierre, 34, said he did not have a contract in place yet with the UFC, but is negotiating through his agent Mike Fonseca of Creative Artists Agency, the powerhouse Hollywood firm. GSP said the UFC offered him and then his team counter-offered, but it was the day before it was announced the UFC had sold to a group led by WME-IMG. So, things went into a holding pattern. The talks have started up again now, he said.
Any word if 202 going to be in 4k like 200 was? Just inherited a 65 inch tv that is 4k and that would be awesome.
whenever I see this thread get bumped in the middle of the week, my first thought is, "who got busted for drugs/peds? then who got arrested? then which fight is canceled this weekend?"
I feel you. I'm 100% Stockton, bitch. Things I love: 1. A diaz fight 2. A Diaz post fight interview 3. A diaz prefight interview 4. All other Diaz talking shit scenarios.
https://twitter.com/ufc/status/766011786134822912?ref_src=twsrc^tfw things are going swimmingly as a UFConor fan i believe he can pull it off.
lol the ufc pulled the clip. conor showed up late diaz left with his gay clique conor tells him to gtfo diaz queers start throwing shit conor starts throwing cans of soda lol
There are way more Diaz huggers anymore. Conor made people forget that Nate Diaz is a B+ fighter who isn't elite in any division. People act like he is the next coming of Jon Jones. Speaking of which, Jones might wiggle his way right out of this PED case.
That press conference got ridiculous. At what point am I reasonable in ceasing to believe it's authentic and not at least somewhat staged?
They'll probably both be fined by the NSAC. No way Nate or anyone in his camp would think to stage that.
I don't think chucking full cans of monster/soda was planned. That wouldn't fly with the ufc. Other shit, yeah, it's to sell a fight.
I know it wouldn't be condoned by the UFC but no way you're convincing me Dana White and stakeholders/owners aren't behind closed doors hoping for more minor absurd shit to happen. It generates exponentially more interest than standard tactics. At a certain point it's damaging to the organization but this type of stuff is below that threshold.
