My guess is we'll get something as soon as Ep. VIII comes out. The movie will explain a bit about "where he was. What he was doing. Hmm." Then a book or two will come out going into more depth.
I saw the Rogue One Celebration trailer in decent quality. Meh Saw the JJ wants a Knights of Ren Anthology film, I'd be fine with that. I wish an Obi-Wan on Tattooine Netflix show was made.

Wrapping up the audiobook of Battlefront: Twilight Company and the production is outstanding. Plenty of sound effects and music makes it immersive.
So is it possible we get a teaser trailer and a Ep. VIII title as part of the opening weekend of Rogue One? Or will they contrive an event to get the name out there ahead of Rogue One.
We should be getting title soon since its wrapping today, and probably a teaser with Rogue One debuting just before it.

Finished Bloodline and liked it although the ending felt rather rushed. Gonna pick up Life Debt tonight. After reading some excerpts I'm rather excited for it.

Finished Life Debt yesterday. I thought it was really good and a huge step up from Aftermath. I'd put it at #2 on my list of new canon books behind Bloodline.
I also binged a few of the comics. Vader Down was fucking awesome. Read first issue of Lando and it was better than I was expecting.
I pulled a dick move and read them at Barnes and Noble. i bought a drink at the cafe is how I justify it.

Super skeptical hippo that anything on network TV wouldn't be a steaming pile of doo doo. I just have a hard time envisioning any live action TV show working out or being good.
I'm with you guys. The lower budget and longer seasons on networks (22 episodes) would make it tough to pull off for ABC.
Best case scenario is it takes place in a completely tangential setting that has nothing to do with any of the storylines or characters that we know. It has barely anything to do with anything except it takes place on a planet we know like Coruscant or Alderaan and maybe there's a token reference to a well known character. It could possibly be a good show, but just doesn;t impact any story line we care about. Basically it has nothing to do w Star Wars, but they just slap the name on it.
