I spent a lot of time in the basement growing up in Michigan mostly b/c my mom was hyper cautious/scared of them, but there was a fatality near us when I was 9, a rare EF4 in Mich.
Well, we survived pretty unscathed. My neighbor got it bad though. Got the roof taken off his house, barn, and garage. Had his propane tank picked up and thrown in our neighbors field.
The craziest thing which just occurred to me is I have no clue what region you are in. Yesterday I think there were at least three areas with tornado damage. Michigan, Arkansas, and Ohio at least those are the ones I know of as of the moment.
Just found out a lady at my company is the person with this red vehicle whose house was destroyed. Her and her husband are in ICU.

I saw sprites last night in the storm that dropped a nader on hot springs ar last night. Was cool to see lightning below and a blueish light go up from the storm.
