should really be doing the 1 pokestop, 1 catch bonuses. they're super worth it and if you're ultra-casual it'll do a lot of heavy lifting for you.
I've caught probably a hundred Pidgey and Magikarp since he was confirmed in the game and nothing. Feels fucking bad man.
I cant catch a damn Growlithe to save my life..seen like 5 of them now, multiple berries and great/ultra balls and they've all broken out and ran away
Trainers, Pokémon GO is being updated to version 0.49.1 for Android and 1.19.1 for iOS. Release notes here: pokemongolive.com/en/post/ver-up…
I try to remember to hit a pokestop every day driving to work - that really does help the XP quick, problem is on the weekends I'm never around them so it does reset me. I was able to catch pokemon 7 days in a row and that was abig XP boost. I've still never done anything with a gym though, so I'm missing that entire point of the game. Some of mine are getting strong enough I could try.
New update and biggest addition is mass transfer. Just tap and hold to start adding pokemon. This is a godsend. Datamines of update include: signs of gender (which would indicate breeding eventually), signs of shinies (ultra, ultra rare variants which are only unique in having a different color/look to them) and some other various visual aspects. 12/12 is now the date for discussion on new pokemon being added. note that this doesn't mean gen 2 is coming that day just that details are for sure. it could be about legendaries but is most likely about gen 2. Sprint is now the first official partner and all stores now become stops and gyms.
Just walked down to the river walk and caught a fuck ton of Psyducks. Also hatched 4 eggs, nothing exciting there though. Caught my first Grimer and Vulpix from my couch today too.
I went to Starbucks yesterday and there was a pikachu and a squirtle outside. Looks like a good spawn point.
Can I have an account on two phones? I'd like to put my wife's account on my work phone to catch some stuff too.
Meatball has just started this game. He is in hog heaven whenever I drive him around town now. I'm kinda aware of the concept of this game but some basic beginner tips to pass along to him would be much appreciated
Team instinct is GOAT save the stardust till over level 20 at least Dont waste time on gyms until over 20 use a lucky egg when you have a bunch of pokemon to evolve, throw it and double your XP Only keep the monsters that get the highest rating when appraised (unless filling your pokedex then yolo) Use lures in areas where there are a bunch of people playing (mostly parks and malls around here) Use incense only in rural areas away from pokestops If you want to pay for anything in the game, buy incubators this helps: https://thesilphroad.com/ and this (depending on how deep you want to go down the rabbit hole): https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/
The money I spend on this game goes towards incubators. $10 buys you 1200 coins which buys you 8 incubators or 24 egg hatches. I hatch probably that many eggs a month, less now that it'll be cold as shit for the next 4 months so I consider it a realistic amount of money to spend. also only use incubators on 5k and 10k eggs. use the infinite one on 2k eggs only (I have rarely used them on 5k eggs but that's because my screen was literally all 5k or 10k eggs).
Thx...I drove him around town several times and the enjoyment and excitement he displayed made it totally worth it. He caught a Snorlax and damn near creamed his jeans
wow that early? good get. took me a couple months to find one. dunno why they're timegating it. so stupid.
except only the ones that look like babies of gen 1 pokemon and the egg one. and you can forget about any of the legendaries right off the bat.
