I bought some bamboo pillows via a rec from this thread and love them but don't really remember their name. Edit: it was from this groupon https://www.groupon.com/deals/gg-ca-bamboo-memory-foam-pillow
Bought this one 5 years ago and it is still in perfect condition. Absolutely love it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000ZK4QH8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_5gTKxbV925ZAF
Still rocking "my pillow" from 6 years ago. Love it. Ordered two more on some special they had this past winter. Not the same pillow. It's like they put less stuffing in them so they're not as supportive.
I have Serta memory foam pillows that I just got with my mattress and I love them. Much better than those bamboo pillows and only $129
Don't go with the knockoff pillows everyone in here tries to push. I think one of these users must own that company. Buy a legit brand. It's worth it. Get some Brooklinen sheets if that thing is under 18" deep. They're a good value
In the market for a wireless all in one printer, any recs? Me and my wife have both started working from home a few times a month, her more-so than me. Printing needs will be minimal, it'll be mostly scanning.
https://www.amazon.com/Brother-MFCL2700DW-Wireless-Networking-Printing/dp/B00MFG58N6 best printer I've ever owned
Cole Haan. They are lunar grand originals in Milkshake suede. Got them at the outlet so not sure if they are online. I got them from finishline for 60 bucks. Looks like they are sold out and more expensive elsewhere. http://www.eastbay.com/product/model:240064/sku:17440004/nike-zoom-vomero-10-mens/grey/blue/
I picked this one up a few months ago and it works great. I'm going to start working from home full-time starting next week and I think it will easily handle it. https://www.amazon.com/Canon-MX922-Wireless-Office-Printer/dp/B00AVWKUJS
Pic isn't working in my phone but last I checked the custom Chacos are made in the US if anyone likes that style. If you don't, that's cool too.
I had a lot of trouble finding sheets that fit a Cal King--shopped every local linen spot and no one had them in stock. Ended up ordering from LinenSpa on Amazon. They're a hotel supplier, so they only offer white sheets with colored accents, but you can't beat their prices. I picked up a 100% cotton percale weave for 25 bucks. Best sheets I've ever had. I sleep really hot and they are amazingly cool. If you live in a warm climate, stay away from microfibers, fleece, heavy weaves, and high thread counts. Look at natural fibers with modest thread counts that breathe. If you feel like spending some coin there are a lot of new online companies like Parachute that are getting pretty good reviews.
Also, I would not recommend spending hundreds of dollars on pillows. No matter how long they hold their shape, or how hypo-allergenic/non-microbial they claim to be, they're the first piece of bedding that's going to get stained and filthy because your face/scalp secretes the most oil in your body (sometimes sweat too). Just look for a reasonable-priced pillow in the firmness you like; by the time it loses its fluff, it's time to replace it anyway.
I had Sheex which were pretty comfy but picked up a set of Brooklinen not long ago and love them. I switch back and forth now but lean more towards the brooklinen.
Thanks, hopefully that works. Their website has a weird .jpg link. Also, another made in the USA brand is Island Slippers.
So, Dave from Saddleback has officially lost his mind. He's always been a bit weird with what he feels he can get away with but this officially turned me off and I've got a metric shit ton of this stuff. http://www.saddlebackleather.com/latest-news/price-increase-newsletter-2016 Will purposefully be switching to his competitors with equivalent warranty/guarantees.
besides being a little unprofessional sounding, what's the big deal? assuming hes telling the truth with regards to accounting and fully recognized costs, I don't seem to have the same reaction as you...
I love my wallet but my wife got me a laptop bag and I hate it. It's bulky, heavy, and is horrible at keeping things organized inside.
That's a shame. If your wife is cool there is a huge market for Saddleback on Ebay. You'll come real close to breaking even on it if you take that route. I love the stuff I've bought from them but he's consistently raised prices every year while subjecting website viewers to his entire family on safari multiple times in a year and dozens of stories about how he's saving this village or that village with Saddleback money. And that's terrific, don't get me wrong, but don't expect me to believe for one second this guy had no clue about his company's finances. Write me an email about how you'll be staying the fuck home for a few years and put some money back into your business instead of saving every poor village in Mexico & Africa in an effort to keep your prices at least a little competitive. Philanthropy is awesome but don't cry poor mouth as you gouge me while showing me pictures of your expensive adventures.
Saddleback is a joke. Dude has always taken everyone on a ride. If you don't mind paying much much more for a product than it costs them to produce it then go ahead but they're incredibly overpriced for only marginal goods. They forget they aren't a luxury brand
