At least they’re usually seasoned with herbs or garlic or something, and can be eaten with sour cream for more of a baked potato vibe. Steak fries are just fucking awful and nothing can redeem them.

I cannot comprehend how someone can sincerely hate potato wedges but love crinkle cuts. There is such a small degree of difference between the two. My palate probably just isn’t sophisticated but I love all forms of potato. The only bad ones are the ones that aren’t salted.

In college we lived a couple blocks from a Church’s chicken and I swear their potato wedges dipped in a side of gravy was crack incarnate. Drove by a Church’s like 5 years later and “holy shit I’m thinkin bout those wedges”, pulled in with a quickness and ordered and they smelled incredible but tasted disgusting. A piece of me died that day. Haven’t tried a wedge since. Don’t want to be hurt again.
