Alright guys I have a theory on the Mad King. This is based on what I've seen tonight involving Hodor Remember when Bran was calling for his father at the TOJ scene and ned turned around like he heard it? I now believe that his calling out to Ned is foreshadowing that he will go back and talk to the Mad King, which will be taken as "voices" and sets the whole series in motion.
Nah, he's a Targaryean. "The gods flip a coin" speech by Barristan explained it. You're either crazy or normal.
They're pretty goddamned worthless so far. They're the most over hyped things since Harold Miner was dubbed the next MJ.
Not enough time to dredge that out imo. He was mad for a long ass time. And as Hoss said, Targaryeans kinda have an out there history. Throw in centuries of inbreeding and you're bound to get a nut case.
I read it a few days ago but I was half drunk so I suppose that's good since nothing in that episode jumped out at me
Alright guys I have a theory on Jon Snow. I think he may actually be the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen.
I'm hearing that Meera Reed is also Lyana Stark's daughter. That's why Howland was so stoked to go to ToJ.
so basically Bran being there in the past and also controlling Hodor in the present causes a bridge between the two which causes the seizure and the repetition of Meera yelling hold the door which is what makes him Hodor Jesus this is all so brutally sad
Blood magic is always said to be extremely unstable. I don't think any one thing caused them to turn, the CotF just created a monster they couldn't control.
Seeing Bran's reaction to what he had done to his friend and to know that he was the reason that Hodor was Hodor was probably the most gut wrenching moment of the entire series
So Bran is responsible for fucking up the majority of Hordor's life and sacrifices him to save his own ass. Bang up job there Bran.
