I mean this lineup is making my sports pants tight, but we still need another starter. Are they banking on colbra coming back and putting the team on his back doe?

So we picked up Beltran and Lucroy

 

I mean think about our rotations in 2010 and 2011. Is this rotation with a healthy Colby any worse than those? And the top 2 is significantly better.

I'm trying to talk myself into it, but I do see why it makes sense to make other improvements if the pitching market was ridiculous

 

Damn hard to win a ship with a dud 3rd starter. Hopefully our bats are just enfuego but its still an uncomfortable situation.

Bullpen is pretty salty. Could go with the Royals approach and rely on the bullpen to win games when Hamels/Darvish aren't going.

Was wondering this, where the hell does profar play now?

Could we platoon Mazara, he hasnt been hitting lefties at all, but neither has profar

 

Mazara is has two extra base hits against lefties this entire season

Moreland has hit lefties significantly better than Mazara this year, why is it out of the question that we platoon him in september/playoffs?

 

Put Prince on 60 day DL to make room for Beltran.

I have no idea how we get profar in the lineup other than as a super utility guy

 

This was pretty great deadline. Wish we could have added stud sp in Profar/Gallo package.

 

Maybe you should have moved him for Moore or Odorizzi.

 

Thats what confuses me. After the Beltran deal, when they are finalizing the Lucroy deal, they have to know Profar is not going to have a spot. And they know he wants to be a full time SS. Seems like we could've included profar in the Lucroy deal and not had to give up a guy at the level of Ortiz.

But thats assuming the Brewers valued Profar more than Brinson.
