Pretty good angry rant from the EPL talk site. http://www.epltalk.com/the-english-fa-corrupt-and-pathetic-29261? Cliffs: The England FA was set to ban Nile Ranger from Newcastle for withdrawing from the U20 friendly against France because of injury without seeing the FA doctors first but realized that the Chris Smalling did the same in the U21 friendly and decided to push the start of bans until the next round of International friendlies.
Yeah I saw they were talking about Gerrard reporting at least. I have no problem with the rule as long as it is applied across the board. The Club vs Country battle is only going to get worst.
Any idea who is reffing Utd/City and Arsenal/Wolves. Thanks. For the question. I think the FA is bad and definitely caters to United at times but not a tenth as bad as Spain who use the government for influence. England allows competition, Spain have made it so there are 2 rich teams and a hundred plus teams scraping by or going bankrupt. I don't know enough about Italy to comment. I think the FA is somewhat corrupt and mostly just incompetent.
Ferguson has the most influence in the country. See Mick mccarthys post match comments on Saturday re:ferguson
keep in mind though that webb also buys every single tumble of iniesta so it might just have something to do with webb being friggin terrible
Fuck. Foy is terrible. Him, Dowd, and Webb are by far the 3 worst. Marriner is the best ref in England and it's not close. I'm sure he'll fuck up now.
I'll have to do some research but I remember that Rafa made similar claims of SAF running the league two years ago. After looking at the numbers, no team had benefited more from referees decisions than Liverpool that season. It's not a secret that the bigger clubs get more of the breaks but to pin it all on United usually just pushes an agenda.
and then the news of qatar buying united... the two most evil entities in modern day footbal joining forces, yay
Just for reference since I mentioned the numbers. During that season. Penalties given to United-4 Penalties given against -3 United players sent off - 5 Opposing players sent off - 2 Liverpool Penalties given to Liverpoool -4 Penalties against - 2 Liverpool players sent off -0 Opposing players sent off -8
In Old Trafford your two goals were off a freekick and a penalty, hardly being neglected by the referees. John O' Shea could have been sent off but it wasn't a travesty that he wasn't. It's convenient to stop at the last three considering Vidic was sent off in each of the previous three games.
I missed where you specified whether Howard Webb's PKs were legit. It's ok to post the total amount in that case without separation but arguments against your point are strictly conditional. Makes things difficult.
man u always gets penalties when they need them and in the most bullshit ways, hell last year i couldnt count how many times you got the game winning goal from a penalty and won 1-0, its garbage, not to mention its almost impossible to beat united at OT simply because the reffing is terrible /endrantrefshatearsenal
Whilst manu did get some anoying breaks i dont like arsenal fans complaining about it as arsenal was the dirtiest team in the epl in at least half of the last ten years
