Alright, so I downloaded Helldivers 2. That intro video was fucking hilarious, and yea this is 100% basically just Starship Troopers. Only problem is that I spent 15 minutes waiting for an open server before I gave up because I knew I had to go be a parent shortly.

As someone who played the first one, I was shocked to see helldivers 2. Does not look the same at all. Pretty wild departure, but for the better
Just bought a PS5. How long does it take/what’s the process for transferring everything over from my PS4?
Iirc, there was just an account verification process and you should have everything from your PS account. Game library, PSN info, etc should be available immediately. Just a matter of having to re-download and install whatever games you have. Of course, that time will vary depending on your connection.
I don’t remember it being too much of a time intensive thing at all. So long as you’ve kept your PS4 cloud stuff backed up all along. If not, then there’s the time to upload followed by the time to download.
On to Far Cry 4 this morning. Can already tell the gunplay is a lot smoother than 3 and Blood Dragon. Kyrat is beautiful so far.
Wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought. Picked up playing a save from my PS4 withhin like an hour. Mainly did it for upcoming NCAA/GTA but don’t realize how much I’d like it immediately. Load times not really being a thing anymore has been something I never knew I needed as bad as I did. Gunna finish Ghosts of Tsushima and maybe grab EA Football before summer. Also set it up in the family room with my best TV and surround system, moving it to my son’s game room this week unfortunately.
Got a PS5 last week. Haven’t had a PlayStation since PS2 in High School/College. Taking sometime to get use to having the thumbstick down low.
Me when I first came upon a fortress in Far Cry 4 vs me finding out that fortresses are just large outposts and not very hard.

PS one is my nostalgia crack. Do them all and then Sqaure needs to do ff8 and ff9 and Parasite eve. Throw in MGS, SH1, and Syphon Filter. Twisted Metal while we're at it.
Just read one review and the main talking points were stiff animations, heavy reliance on microtransactions, slim rosters and game modes. Apparently there isn't really a true career mode, just one tied to experience and VC. Sounds like 2K alright.
