If we're holding something against Bill for his Jalen Green stuff two years ago, it should be holding it against a rookie on the Rockets for not winning more games more than when he was pretty clearly joking and said "fuck Jalen Green". Maybe the joke was in bad taste or didn't land, but anyone who thinks team record matters when discussing ROY candidates shouldn't have a vote. And that includes people like Zach Lowe and others who do the same dumb shit while acting like it makes them smarter than everyone else.
iirc, the context behind bill's jalen green comments was about him on an all-rookie team and whether his scoring numbers on a bad team had him deserving it remains the dumbest "controversy" surrounding bill that has circulated.
I believe I saw a reddit comment say Bill stated all AFC East teams got worse besides the Pats. He is on the annual path to overrating them. As for the Bills, one day he will be right about them hitting the under. Sure, he has been wrong 3 years in a row, but maybe this is the year!!! When the Bills scored 7 straight TDs against the Pats in the playoffs a few years back, it broke his brain.

Ryen wants nothing to do with it, jumps into the men's side, actually does a decent breakdown of the Elite 8, and brings up the potential Edey vs Clingan Final. Bill doesn't respond to any of it outside of his Duke to the Final 4 bet. Mentions how the UConn/Illinois game actually wasn't an entertaining sporting event because of the blowout (???). Ryen doesn't know where to go with that, tells a a dive bar story because he was in Boston for the games and how he watched the Sox Opening Day game. Bill again doesn't respond to it and says again he's all in on the Pats taking Drake Maye at 3. "He's going to be 245 pounds!"
