I hope your days are going well. I'm drinking Nelson & hoppy birthday, and it's 75° and sunny. EVERYTHING IS COMING UP Heesu!
I broke my 3F and Cantillon cherry tonight, I feel like I can now sit at the adult table on Thanksgiving. Such a life changing monent.
Don't know why and it's probably the booze but this image immediately came to mind Enjoyed this tonight.. so good everytime!
great beer, great time. thanks again for the invite. considering I brought the least of these bottles, I was giving you the chance to post the pic if you wanted also, my power just came back on from the storm outage. the tv and lights blaring at 4am is enough to scare a grown man
Pretty okay night. Literally loved all of them, except Upland(which was still good, just a little too much). Highlights for me were: Prop - pretty much the best stout I've ever had Fou Foune - first time bottled and not draft, and it was worthy of the hype Lou Pepe Kriek - perfect Mocha Wednesday - enjoyed more than BCBCS(which were all still awesome) Imperial Apricot Bu - everyone's favorite Bu of the night I actually don't feel that terrible, but I'm sure that will change later today.
Thanks again to cdaysker , Aussie , VTA , dblplay1212 , and Buzz . Buzz, we were going to do a Mexican Cake comparison since we got all of them from the last release, but actually called it before we stared browning out. I'm terrible at stopping myself, but my one buddy made the call after Grey Monday and it was the perfect time. I would've burned through 10-15 more bottles and blacked out. Overall, 'twas the best beer night I've had.
So this morning I had to the grocery store for usually post work breakfast. Stop by w/s just to see if I have to buy something. Goose island had packaged Matilda bottles in a sofie carrier so the guy gave me two bottles Free. I give him beer from cb all the time.
once i have finished off everything I already have purchased im done for a while. How do your say no to free beer though?
St Lam is awesome. I could drink a couple bottles every week if more accessible. Because the grapes are so prevalent I haven't noticed a huge difference between vintages despite what the neckneards say. I haven't had one older than '10 so I don't know about ones that are very Zedalis.
