I need to rewatch but Spoiler I could have sworn when they were struggling for the gun they were next to a wall and then he's shot in the middle of an open area? Maybe my mind was playing tricks me.
This show is already infuriating. Nick sucks so much. I also kept yelling at Travis to keep his eyes on the road because we already know what happens when you look away. It seems like this show is moving at too slow a pace considering the audience has already been watching zombie killing for the past five years and has come to expect certain things.
Have you watched the original series at all? I mean, they devoted an entire episode to finding a bottle of hooch. A plodding plotline is pretty par for the course in everything associated with this series.
I still haven't watched the first episode but just from the preview stuff I had read I don't think it's going to reach full outbreak mode until the end of this initial 6-episode run. Which is why the stuff I read was so disappointed with the character development. If you're going to go that slow (research shows something similar to a zombie apocalypse as they're depicted on TV shows and movies would overtake a city like LA within a few days) then you better be making the viewer care about what happens to the people they're watching.
I don't know. She's the guidance counselor and seemed to already have a good relationship with the kid. I could see not wanting to fuck the kid, and his future, over for a dumb decision
Agreed. I came in here earlier to see what was said and took the lack of any post whatsoever as a sign that most of us were in shock.
24‘s Xander Berkeley is making time for a potentially long-term stint on The Walking Dead, TVLine has learned exclusively. Berkeley, whose more recent TV credits include Nikita, Being Human, Salem andZoo, is joining AMC’s zombie smash in a top-secret Season 6 recurring role that sources confirm is not infamous comic baddie Negan. That said, I hear his character — whose name is being kept under wraps — does share some of the same characteristics as Negan. Namely his narcissism, huge ego and self-preservation. He’s also said to relish the superiority that comes with being in control, but he plays it off with a car salesman-type charm. Berkeley will debut during the second half of Walking Dead‘s sixth season (the firsthalf premieres Sunday, Oct. 11 at 9/8c). And in a clear sign that producers have big plans for the actor, his deal carries with it a series-regular option for Season 7. http://tvline.com/2015/09/16/walking-dead-xander-berkeley-season-6-cast/ Looks like he'll probably be... Spoiler Gregory
Casting call!!!! THE WALKING DEAD, Episode #616 Episodic AMC ONE HOUR SAG [ORIN] 30s to mid 40s. A physically imposing, charismatic, brutal, smart, ferocious, frightening, hilarious, inappropriate, oddly friendly, fun loving sociopath that is both a leader of men and a killer of men. He has both a practical and emotional intelligence, he's a brilliant strategist, he's pure, dangerous, murderous, often gleeful id, that still has both discipline and a code. And he has a temper that can vaporize people. He's truly one of the strongest personalities ever...
Why not give flare guns to Darrell and the people in the car so they shoot flares instead of people behind a shitty wall?
Taking bets on who set the horn off at the neighborhood? I'm guessing preacher. Or it was from near the place and it was the wolves.
Prob the wolves Loved the random piano music when heath came up to the gate Try harder to make carter look like a pussy bitch in one episode.. In the faaaaace Rick's paramour is a cunt too. Yall all should be shot Black and white + shit sound mixing = fucking shit tv Rick is what everyone should be
The black and white flashback spliced in with the present was unnecessary and kind of annoying. Just run the episode sequential.
No way it was the kid. He does that he's essentially committing suicide and killing his mom and brother. Guessing it's the wolves or whatever. The whole time Rick and Co. were moving the herd I was just waiting for the wolves to do something to screw it all up so guessing that was it.
Other than the switching from B&W to color, I liked the episode. Was definitely a departure from the standard find building/house full of zombies then kill zombies yet some character dies.
Spoiler Seriously though, there are no Wolves in the comics, so it could be one of two different groups of bad guys. Either the Scavengers or the Saviors.
They're presumably the people who had been carving W's into walkers heads last season and there's been some warnings about them through writing on cars/buildings etc.
So after ruminating on this- Rick finds a giant zombie trap that is attracting more and more zombies, and keeping those zombies away from Alexandria. Rick sees that the barriers are about to give way and knows that something needs to be done. Rick decides that the best idea is to 'pied piper' thousands of zombies out of a zombie trap that naturally attracts zombies and helps their town. Why in the world wouldn't he dig out the escape road so the zombies can't escape?
Maybe a dumb question but what do you mean dig out the road? Like demolish the dirt rmp 5hey were going up on? I would imagine that'd take a lot of time. My thought would be somehow find a stash of grenades and throw them in there and blow them all up
it would definitely take some time. But it would likely take less time than the zombie parade using that same amount of man power. Hell, they used a ton of time, energy, and resources constructing the wall at the fork in the road.
This was my first thought. After I saw the line of cars and the diversion wall, I was wondering if they had put that much effort into shoring up the blockade at the quarry that would have worked nicely to keep them penned in. This goes back to the prison for me. They had hundreds of walkers lined up on the fence and for a while they were killing them with homemade spears and knives. Why didn't they keep doing that all day every day until they were all gone instead of stopping? Dumb shit like that is what makes me rage. Why when they saw the walkers in the tractor supply store and they had like 30 people there did they not just go ahead and kill them all instead of saying oh we'll worry about that later? And on that note, how many people are normally in a tractor store at one time?
