I’ll consider it if they promise a James Wood Future Stars that plays better than the Aaron Judge live series
Bought it, after 20 minutes I got in. I was in for 5 minutes and servers down for maintenance. Just wanted to rip some packs before bed.
Bought for nephew, passed so far for myself. Will still follow thread, just don't want something to temp me to grind right now.
4 extra days is worth $0 if nothing fucking works in the game. So far through ~4 hours I’ve managed to complete 1 BR game (Babe 99 is glitched and it defaults to SP so you can’t even fucking hit with him) and a few divisions worth of TA moments. rest of the time has been filled with server maintenance and failing at playing online. amazing how they fuck this up every single year
Prices are always low for the opening. Not saying it’ll jump up to 500, but it will at least go up another 1-2 hundred.
Debating on buying Acuna LS before early access is over. Could have gotten him for 170k opening night yesterday he was between 210-225. Got to play in several coop games yesterday and man you can tell it's early access crowd. stiff competition out there and there's not a lot of good pitching available right now. Bullpens are teeeerrible. Think we had 3 games with over 30 hits combined in each one. This one doesn't show me experimenting with Bobby Miller silver card as a SP we got shellacked in the 1st 2 innings. Comeback was dopamine city though
Not a huge fan of the Ranked Program setup this year. Innings alone doesn't get you very far they're kinda forcing people to play solo ranked to get the WS packs now.
It should be 50/50, like you can play offline or online to get everything. In past years offline was waaaaay faster to get xp and the programs all had a ton of offline grind. It just needs to be equal so people can play how they want.
Not the main "season" program - just the Ranked solo/coop program. They put an outlier Randy in the WS pack and you've gotta get a lot of solo ranked stats / pxp missions to get him instead of last year you just could play a shit load of innings and get the WS pack that way.
Completed first showdown at lunch. Going to play battle royale for awhile. Market is moving really slow. Was hoping to flip quite a bit today.
In the office and been jonesin to see if anyone has packed any cards, but the companion app notifications aren’t working for me. Is that the case for everyone?
I’ve packed 5 Snells including 2 in 3 packs the other night. have sold all LS Diamonds that weren’t Braves in order to buy Acuna and Riley.
Such a fantastic add. Makes franchise not only playable for people like me who don't have 100s of hours to invest in a game but it also makes single player mode streamable.
Not the best squad but competitive. 4-0 in Ranked yesterday. Threw all the starters but Skubel. 21 total innings. 2 runs given up 33 hits and 16 runs for the good guys Devers, Riley, and Olsen been raking
I'm going to have to ignore this thread smh. I don't want to buy the game and gring the shit for 2 months bc I know I'll stop playing it completely when NCAA comes out but fuck I want to be on it now.
It's not the money, I'd just buy the game and not stubs this year, its more the time I'd invest over 6-8 weeks and then just dropping the game.
assuming you play 4 hours a week for 6 weeks (probably a low estimate), you’re basically paying $3 an hour for entertainment. That’s not a bad roi imo, but I’m the sucker who always says this is the year I won’t get the game because I burned out last year.
I play 2-3 hours a night, most nights. Kid goes to bed at 8:30, I hang with wife for an hour or so until she's ready to lay down, then I hop on from 10-12 or 1. For me personally I'd hate to invest to invest a ton of time to build out a team and do programs and collections and then drop it all when NCAA comes out. I'd rather just play Madden or BR on 23 for a few weeks. In past year I'd go hard on The Show from March until September when 2k came out. I was kinda over The Show by then anyways/ Now NCAA comes out early July. It's not the money at all, I just don't want to invest a ton of time into the game and then just drop it before the all-star break.
Madden, I just do Play Now. 23 The Show, I just play BR. If I got into 24, I'd start collecting cards and doing collections and I'd get deep into it. I get it doesn't make sense for everyone, I just don't want to get deep into a game that I know I'll only play for 2 months.
