Halo 1 had a satisfying ending. now that i think about it most games seem to have rather mundane endings
Don't just list them post the youtube vids of them. That way we can relive those satisfying moments that truly knocked us off our feet.
I still have uncharted 3 and the new deus ex sitting in the wrapper. I need to break those out. I know UC3 will be good, but what is yalls thoughts on deus ex?
Catherine is a very unique puzzle game. If you enjoy puzzle games that make you think think quickly while trying to weird you the fuck out then it is a game I would recommend. It is funny as hell, and a lot fun to play once you get the hang of it. Though the game is really fucking weird, and looks like a fucked up anime.
Really enjoyed the new Deus Ex, but the game can get overwhelming with all the shit that it tries to throw at you.
Play Uncharted now! Its set pieces are mind boggling. I'm posting from mobile or I'd post my favorite endings.
Yeah I don't own a PS3, but the Uncharted series is on my list of video game playthroughs to watch on youtube.
I can play all of them within 5 minutes if I go to my friend's apartment. I was a Sony guy till the disappointing launch titles of the PS3. I owned a playstation and a PS2 while my little brother eventually got a xbox. Then when both launched my little brother and I went back and forth on what to get, and he finally decided to get a 360 despite my protests. In hindsight I am glad he did because there are at least 50 people on friend's list that I have been playing with for almost 7 years now. 360 had BF2 MC and I spent nearly 5 years playing the hell out of that game online. No console arguments in this thread both have their positives and negatives, and we will leave it at that.

Not an ending but Dom dying in GoW 3 made me cry. People were walking into my room right as it happen and were like wtf you're crying over a video game? They don't understand how much time and passion I had invested into the GoW series, hell I've read the books.
when me and my brother would play thru it together I was always Dom, and when he died my brother had to grab/half tackle me bc I screamed "NOOOO" and was in the process of spiking the controller. Good move on his part bc I would have shattered that thing
The Dom scene was pretty bad. I teared up. The ending when Adam dies after speaking to Marcus was good. Bioshock 1 was great. Forgot how 2 ends
The ending was really awesome if you read the books too. Not trying to be some hipster douchebag, but in the books it covers his relationship with his father a lot more. The Fenix/Santiago story is actually pretty awesome in general. The thing I did dislike about the series though was Dom continually bitching about finding Maria. It got quite annoying, but besides that the GoW franchise is the best ever.
I got them at my local Barnes and Noble. They're very good (same author as the Mass Effect books) and easy to read. There are 3 of them too, the first is Asopho Fields. They go much very in depth on the Pendulum Wars too, which were the wars fought over imulsion for years before emeregence day, I know they touch on them briefly in GoW but nothing in depth. You really get to know the stories of how Dom/Marcus grew up, and there's no overlap between the games. The first two books I believe take place before GoW 1, the last one takes place between 2 and 3.

I guess I worded that very poorly lol. There's 5 total books, 2 in the past year that I haven't read yet. But am going tomorrow to pick up.
Bash me if y'all want, but I am convinced the Kingdom Hearts series is by far the best narrative ever told in a video game. If you have only played KH and KH2 you only know 20% of the story. If they released KH, KH Re-chained/Rebirth, KH 358/2 Days, KH2, and KH Birth by Sleep with HD graphics for consoles like they have been doing for a lot of old series I would be ecstatic. I know the game is definitely modeled more for kids, but it has one of the most complex and intricate stories I have ever seen. The Mass Effect series is the only other series that has even come close to it as far as story telling goes.
I just got done with watching a youtube playthrough of all 6 games to get psyched for the new 3DS version that is coming out. If you have the time I can happily pm the links to you. Each game is between 15-30 hours long, but it is more than worth it to watch all of them like you would a really good tv series.

Yes. KH has easily the best story of any series. But, to keep with the theme of the thread, I'd like to point out that FFX has the greatest ending of all time. I was legitimately upset about it. It is, and will forever be, my favorite game. I play through it quite regularly. FF7 can suck my dick. Tifa>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Aeris just started another play through of 7.
