Dempsey's touch has been awful in the two friendlies, yea he scored a big goal, but I expect better from our 2nd best field player

The vast majority of our goals come from the foot of Landon Donovan, either assisting or scoring, if he gets marked out of the game, the US offense falls apart

Clark is just awful on the ball, and of course I dont hope he is injured, but I really hope he doesnt start on Saturday

I honestly think Bradley does a good job getting everyone going and switching sides. Yea you can say that if Landon gets marked out we're fucked, but it's so hard in soccer to "mark out" someone completely.

Anyone else notice how well we play on the counter?

Where? Because I think Michael Bradley does a good job of playing a defensive holding midfielder?

youre just very very positive in this thread thats all

if gooch plays our d will be fine, we can score without it going through landon, bradley is a good two way midfielder, etc

Well the Gooch comment was more for the fact that the chemistry when he's in has to be better than when Goodson or someone else plays his spot. I don't think me saying Bradley is a good holding midfielder is homerish. And I mean I guess me saying we can score goals without him, but I only stated that we can still move the ball, didn't say we'd put it in the net. We usually struggle putting it in the net

I'm optimistic, yes. But do I realize it's possible we don't play through, absolutely.

That was nothing. Like one bee compared with stepping on a hive next week. I don't mind them really, but literally every person who entered the room last year while I was watching the confederations cup complained about it. Imagine the WC watchers only are going to hate it.
