ftr idk where Gaston ends up but we've been recruiting him for what seems like a decade. Hopefully we can get him.
https://247sports.com/player/nasir-wyatt-46125846/ 41 tackles 21 tackles for loss 14 sacks 3 forced fumbles 3 fumble recoveries Not a bad season playing top tier competition.
He's known our QB coach since he was very young, assumed the first visit was a courtesy to him but the second one, who knows. Cignetti has really raised the NIL pool for football supposedly.
I’ve always wondered why Indiana, Purdue or other teams don’t just embrace a Mike Leach style offense and throw 60 times a game. No one else the the Big Ten is doing it.
Not sure I’ve ever seen a kid schedule three OVs then decide to cancel all three and schedule 4 different ones in a 3 week period “ On May 31, he's going to visit Southern Cal. On June 7, Owusu-Boateng will be at Notre Dame. On June 14, he's headed to Ohio State. On June 21, Owusu-Boateng is going to Michigan. He had previously set official visits to South Carolina on May 31, Stanford on June 7, and Georgia on June 14. However, as noted above, those have been changed” ND will throw the biggest bag so I like our chances, Freeman is getting everything he wants these days from the boosters. New administration is in yolo mode like it’s 1992 again
We only have four scholarship RB on the roster because our old RB coach whiffed on everyone in 2023 and we didn’t take a RB that year. Henderson and Judkins are gone after 2024, leaving two guys who are true freshmen in 2024 for 2025. We’ll probably take three if we can, but at least two.
Injuries aside, he looks the part and has an elite name. I’ll be sad if he ends up at Georgia, but I get it.
