Saw where Jerry Seinfeld commented on NBC cutting one of the 5 Saturday Night's Main Event specials from their 1990 lineup to make room in the budget for a few more season 1 episodes of Seinfeld. He said that saved the show. That's all. Carry on.
Jericho should’ve gone out on top and done the job and let MJF retire him Would’ve missed out on some mildly entertaining JAS stuff but feel like that would’ve been the perfect timing for him
He looks like he's been deflated. Or maybe like he's being pulled apart from left to right. I can't decide. His belly button is too far to the left. It's not centered. That's driving me crazy. He looks like a fake person that's been constructed by a practical effects team to be destroyed from the inside out in the 1982 movie The Thing
He's like a former great musician (easy joke not the point) who mostly sucks now but as soon as he retires, the fullness of his career will put him in a more positive light.
He looks like someone who was obese, lost a ton of fat but is still overweight, and then didn't shed the skin so there's just loose, floppy skin all over the place. And then his chest looks like it took a shotgun blast, caved in, and then didn't heal properly
Got over recruited. He would have been a good midcard guy when they first started out but at this point he's just not good enough to to really matter with as stacked as that roster is.
His chest has looked weird for over a decade. I believe he's said he stopped lifting weights when he started doing DDP Yoga
If TK had turned ROH into their NXT which I said he should have done as soon as he bought it, some of the problems with a bloated roster could have been solved. Instead, he elected to turn it into a glorified traveling AEW Dark where the only people with any decent creative are the ones involved and surrounding the ROH the women's title scene. Everyone else is just getting pointless matches to have pointless matches and the men's titles are rarely, if ever, seen outside of PPVs. Put a real creative person or team on ROH and get it back in the studio. Get those ROH matches and belts no one cares about off the AEW TV tapings and replace them with some high quality dark matches (as in non-televised, not Dark/Dark Elevation) that people in attendance will actually care about and actually serve a purpose for the talent involved.
They certainly have a plan but WWE needs to be very careful about us not giving a shit about the world titles unless it’s Mania or SummerSlam. However, the Raw men’s roster is indeed far superior than SD’s.
ROH being AEW's NXT was what everyone wanted from day one. It's the only viable use for the company. Hire someone to book the show, use talent for it that aren't being used on AEW, talent too green to be on TV every week, or "name" talent that's nearing the end of their shelf life (like Jeff Hardy who is somehow still under contract). Don't interfere with the people you hire to book it unless things go south. In other words, run it like a pro team owner who hires a GM. But what would TK know about that...
Dave's take is just dishonest... WWE is coming off a 4 year Roman storyline mixed in with Cody's 3 year "finish the story" and the expectation is to come out of Wrestlemania with a massive storyline? Dave and TK must be on good terms again because this bullshit take added to him giving cover for the Harvey take when it's all nasty is him telling on himself.
At least they didn’t pay off the big babyface title win by immediately starting him on a program with Lance Archer
AJ is still fantastic in ring... It just hasn't been built up much, a mixture of quick turnaround, draft and this matchup is going to go Q/KoTR
Dave is coming off this week saying the Elite angle isn’t going to work because AEW is uncool and Christian vs. Swerve isn’t worthy of a PPV main event
100% correct call putting these "C" level PLEs in newer markets like France judging by this SD crowd, they'll make a throwaway PLE feel bigger than it should.
