Really good season. Minor gripe would be the poor writing in the episode when Robby first meets Kenny at Cobra Kai. He tells Robby that his brother sent him to meet with him. Robby then asks if his brother is out of jail to which Kenny says no. Later in the episode, he goes to Kenny's house and asks how his brother is and if he's still getting out this summer. It was as if they forgot about the previous encounter.

I was thinking the same thing. Don’t get me wrong I love the corniness but it was over the top. I was thinking all this for youth karate? No way this would happen in real life. Then I remembered a year ago people attempted a coup for a stupid, obese d-list celebrity and thought well yeah this could happen.
Johnny drunk talking to Miguel after he got his ass kicked by Terry almost killed me. Having that whole spiel about trying to be a good dad and fucking up only to think he was talking to Robby was a gut punch.
I saw a tweet referring to this as anime for Gen X and my god that is the most spot on comparison I can think of.
finished s4, thought it was way better than s2 and s3 can't really stand the youngest kid who beat up danny's son, though
