seems like Furiosa tickets might finally go on sale tomorrow, for those who want to see it early at IMAX or Dolby theaters.
I'll forever love Oscar Isaac for this scene alone. Fun fact: the actress who plays the hot robot girl in this scene, also plays the main character in Devs (which is one of my all time favorite mini series). It's shocking, because she looks so much different.
Saw Baby Driver in theaters and loved it. Holds up, such an awesome movie, one of my favorites of the last 10 years.
Jack Macskall (the guy who shot Wild Bill Hickok in season 1) and Mr.Walcott (Mr.Hearst’s henchman who killed the prostitutes in season 2) are played by the same actor.
Challengers was probably one of my favorite erotic tennis dramas I've ever seen. Movie was really good but the last scene elevated it to another level
Fall Guy this weekend. Super excited for another Gosling Fest. Me patiently waiting until I Saw the TV Glow hits my theater now that its out Predictably that shitty new Tarot horror movie is bombing so hard
Rebel Moon Part 2, about as bad as the first. Snyders ability to make 4+ hours of movies and manage to not make you care about a single character is truly remarkable. A real feat in the world of shitty movies.
Now listen to this at work one day next week sir, i did yesterday and it was pretty solid https://www.theringer.com/the-rewat...the-running-man-with-bill-simmons-kyle-brandt
Watching The Taste of Things. I very much love the “feel” or ambiance of a movie and this is my kind of movie. Loving it.
I actually saw that in my feed this week and didn’t listen because I realized I hadn’t seen it. Listened to it this morning. I like it when they bring Kyle Brandt on for these (The Program ep was especially good). Though Brandt has Running Man behind T1 and I’d probably swap those in my rankings.
I usually catch up on many Rewatchables during road trips and my two favorite guests/non-regulars are Brandt and Shea Serrano. Anytime either of them are on i usually listen soon after release. You need to see Total Recall soon sir. Definitely a classic from growing up and think you'll like it. And I wouldn't ever bother with the remake btw.
I need to watch Last Action Hero again. Saw it once when I was a kid and remember liking it. Don’t think I’ve watched it again since though.
I saw it yesterday and really liked it. Godzilla is scary, the music was so good. BRR! BRR! It was a breath of fresh air compared to where American franchise blockbusters currently are. I cared about the characters most of all. So much so that when Spoiler Noriko dies in the heat ray blast I was devastated. Contra to The Avengers where when Iron Man dies I know it's not the last Iron Man property because Iron Man is very valuable IP. Then when she's alive at the end it doesn't feel cheap. The usual things that would bug me in these movies, like the badly blown out blue/greenscreen of a lot of the stuff that takes place on the open water, don't because I care too much about what's happening to be annoyed. Great movie. I'm gonna watch the original for the first time tonight.
I actually rate Terminator (as an all round movie) really highly, possibly in my top 20 ever, so mine would be: T2, obviously Terminator Predator Running Man maybe True Lies, just beating Kindergarten Cop?
I think the holy trinity of action movies has to include T2, Die Hard, and Predator. Fury Road is also in there if we’re thinking more recent.
Never saw the judge and it's trending on Netflix God damn is it well acted, Duvall and rdj throwing heaters at each other
I'd consider T2 Cameron's second-best effort. The greatest action movie of all time, in my humble: Spoiler
Dude, rectify that pronto. You won't regret it - just a super fun ride from start to finish and one of the last great Arnie flicks.
To be fair most every box office result this year has been underwhelming even Dune 2, in which most everybody saw it and even some people multiple times, just now barely grazed over $700 million worldwide We might not even get a billion dollar movie this year unless one of the animated movies hits this summer which is usually the only kinds of movies to get to the billion dollar mark these days
In the first 15 minutes we’ve got the scuba diving, Arnold bashing two Dobermans’ heads together, and a bunch of guys firing at him whilst skiing. I’m totally in on this one.
