Yeah the second was some chinese funded POS. I feel like that sounds like a racist statement but https://screenrant.com/pacific-rim-uprising-box-office-success-china/
First was a GOAT monster/robot-alien duke it out movie. I'll still full mast when hearing Gipsy Danger's battle horn. * EMPTY THE CLIP EMPTY THE CLIP
The best thing to come from PACIFIC RIM is the joke in the show JURY DUTY about the witness jacking off in a theater while watching it.
human scenes have always been the worst part of these Godzilla movies so a series centered around people in the Godzilla universe doesn't tickle my fancy but I'm definitely going to watch
All I wanna see is Kaiju recreating the Undertaker-Mankind match move for move Is that too much to ask?
Yeah, the Godzilla and Movies subreddits are gushing over it. Godzilla scenes were gripping, final act was great and the human plot actually had high stakes to it. Best human plot of the movies.
Minus One was the best Godzilla. It’s much like the original with better special effects. It’s not often that you care about the characters, but they did a good job of humanizing them. Shin Godzilla had better destruction but the camera angles allowed you to be there with Minus One. Only missing the fantastic monster battles in King of Monsters.
Does it matter IMax vs Dolby? think i'm going to go see it tomorrow. Too many people I know raving about it.
Definitely enjoyed it - every single time Big G appeared on screen was a-MA-zing - but I felt it lost a lot of momentum leading into the final assault. Could have easily lost 20 mins of the boring stuff and been a much tighter movie.
No idea. Maybe the Egypt aspect has something to do with it? Maybe he was buried like a pharaoh with armor on?
It’s a movie about a big ape and a radioactive lizard. What did you expect out of the trailer. I’ll take an edible, get some popcorn, and enjoy the hell out of it
I just want big beast beating the shit out of each other with the human plot being less corny and in the background. Give me a Pacific Rim-esque Godzilla.
Why does there even need to be a human story at all people would go apeshit for one of these totally centered on the kaiju’s relationships without a single word of dialogue except humans screaming as they get stomped in the crossfire
What’s the percent of Godzilla action vs plot building via subs? Trying to figure out if I’m taking the 9 year old.
