Lol at Mr pb carrying his accountant screaming No!! This is gonna be great. As it always is, from my perspective.
I think I texted you about it but I tried doing a rewatch a couple months ago and had to stop because I was getting all depressed and drinking myself into a stupor each night.
i'm headed to vegas for a bachelor party/my 30th birthday weekend this afternoon. assuming i am still alive come sunday, i'll be doing exactly this. can't wait
I'm about to dive in. I texted OHW earlier I don't know if I have enough booze in my house to make it through the season tonight.
Me too. Through ep 8. Watched a lot of Netflix series and this is the only one that has been great all the way through. Glad I stuck out OITNB. S2 and S3 were so awful and then S4 was great. Never seen that happen.
"You can't keep doing this, you can't keep doing shitty things. You need to be better. You are all the things that are wrong with you. Its not the alcohol or the drugs, it's you. It's you" "Fuck man, what else is there to say?"
Rewatched episode 1 last night and rewatching episode 2 now. Not binge watching helps not make me depressed
Only two episodes in so I'm not reading this thread yet but the second episode flashing back to 2007 was freaking incredible. Laughed so much throughout.
Holy shit. They really did an episode with almost no dialogue and it was incredible. Will probably get thru ep five tonight and finish tomorrow
The nice thing is, at least for me, the show is so rewatchable and got can go back and pick up a new sight gag almost every time.
And I love random characters showing up in the background at random. Amy the mouse from Hollywoo stars and celebrities: What do they know? Do they know things? Let's find out! running into Todd outside the coffee shop in 2007. Or the chick bojack hooked up with at the beginning of season one being in the background at the restaurant for the not a wedding, just an engagement dinner episode. I'm sure there have been others in just the first five episodes
Alan arkin fucking killed it as jd salinger. I really hope he's still showing up every once in a while.
Oh holy shit at that abortion song I pray to God my fetus has a soul/ So it feels pain when I shoot it out my hole
I first saw S1+2 last Summer, and watched S3 over the weekend (at my desk on Friday). When I saw the Stanford sweatshirt I felt compelled to watch everything over again. I love Arrested Development for all the subtle callbacks, and in this show there are many hard to spot ones. My favorite joke is how easily everyone in LA transitioned to "Hollywoo" as if that has been the name all along.
"Just because you're good at something doesn't mean you have to do it. I'm good at driving sober but that doesn't mean I relish the opportunity"
I like how it's not just bojacks story but princess Carolyn, Diane, mr Peanutbutter, Todd all hanging in the balance
this ep of pc and bojack fighting at the restaurant is legit sad, but, of course, has some hilarious moments. pc throwing the keys. dog valet "i'll get it!!" "everyone told me to dump you. my boss. film execs. directors. they all told me you were washed up. a fraud. a joke. too portly for tv." "too portly for tv, who said that?" "i dont know, it doesn't matter" "it does matter, who said that?" "luis guzman" "LUIS GUZMAN SAID *I'M* TOO PORTLY FOR TV??"
I just can't believe the emotion they got through a cartoon it was a pretty amazingly written season. The under water ep was absolutely amazing. When he found out there was a speaker I lost it.
adam levine has tweeted his sympathies: Today we lost an icon #shewillbemissed #watchthevoiceseason10
Pretty big spoiler if you haven't seen the last ep of the new season Spoiler Anyone else surprised Todd is gay/bi/asexual? I was but I guess there's no reason to be; they haven't really shown him getting with any ladies that I can recall. Interested to see how this ends up affecting the story going forward
I wasn't surprised at all. I know specifically in the flashback episode (think it was episode 2) they hinted at it
