So what is our main problem on offense right now. Can't run the ball or McIlwain sucks? Was pretty drunk second half and it started running together but I'm sitting here trying to figure out still how we only got 10 points Saturday

 

Opinion - our plays take too long to develop and our OL isn't good enough to give them time. BMAC is still holding the ball in the backfield with the RB when the DL is on top of him. Need to speed it up and mix it up. OL has been worse than we could have imagined. UK defense is the worst we will see all year except WCU and we scored 10 pts. Gotta change or we won't win another game.

 

OL is terrible. McIlwain overthrows guys a lot. Keep trying to run Turner at 180 lbs right up the middle and it's not working. When he gets around the edge, he has some success.

 

Bryan Edwards has 17 catches. Next WR after him has 4

Watching him throw a deep ball is awful. I might as well be out there under throwing ball.

 

We just don't have any talent on the offensive side of the ball outside of Edwards.

Sure the offensive staff could be less conservative but then the fans are bitching about why we got beat even worse.

 

I'd argue that Hurst and Turner have good potential as well. And when Deebo is capable of playing he does well; too bad he only plays about half a season.

David Williams is playing much better. Been a bust his whole career but ran hard last game. Hurst, Edwards, Turner, Deebo can all be more than serviceable in a good scheme. BMAC is slower than I expected. OL is bad. Need long drives that eat up clock and get some points. Our defense is above expectations unless they are on the field too long. We could win 5-6 games with the right offensive plan.

 

If we avoid complete humiliation this weekend I think legit excitement will return at least for UGA week. Especially with the night game. Not saying we'll win but by kickoff time that night there'd at least be a lot of folks believing we could

 

Just throw Bentley in there and run the air raid with quick passes. McIlwain can't throw and doesn't run well enough to overcome his arm. As crazy as the disparity is between Edwards' receptions compared to the rest of the receivers, I think he needs it more often. Force feed the guy.

 

I think Bentley would die against SEC defenses. We legit may need to turn back to Orth at some point. I just want to win more games than last year

 

Why waste a year of his eligibility?

 

We definitely need to fire an assistant coach and/or change out the qb. One of those two always fixes everything
