even if for some reason this turns out to be a remastered version, i'll still be happy. but sequel would be ideal right now.
I doubt they will remaster. Made a ton of money making backwards compatible last year or earlier this year. A sequel is coming just hopefully will be sooner rather that later.
As a gamer who is growing old and disappointed with most everything offered these days, I need this game
You're not playing the right games, my friend. There are some excellent games out there currently. RDR2 has to be legendary though. I just hope it's not expected release Winter 2019 or some shit.
What should I be playing? I enjoyed the witcher, tomb raider, blood borne and ds3, love overwatch and have played a ton of Destiny. Fallout was bad to me so don't mention it. I game regardless. But we are three years in and still dropping remastered from last gen. This gen just isn't providing like last at all imo. 2007 was an amazing year for gaming. Classics on classics. I certainly haven't given up and won't anytime soon, but rdr2 needs to get here quick because I see little on the horizon
With the canoe and dream catcher in the tree makes me think we got a Cowboys vs. Indians aspect in the game too.
Yeah as soon as that picture was posted on Monday, one of my buddies said that he thought it was a prequel playing as Dutch's gang
More speculation: 2nd from left is Jack Swift far right is shadow wolf and 2nd from right is Red harlow from the 1st game. Middle guy is the new character. http://screenrant.com/red-dead-redemption-2-prequel-sequel-revolver/
As long as I can go off and collect pelts to pay off my bounties (I'm quick with the double barrel) and allow me to duel people I feel have wronged me, I'll be happy. The game itself is secondary to the therapy it provides me.
everyone saying one of them looks like a woman in the trailer, but none of those in the picture look like a woman. same people as in the trailer?
Red Dead Redemption 2 Will Offer "Big, Sprawling, Optimistic View of America" "I think the times are right for a big, sprawling, optimistic view of America again." Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has shared some new insight into Red Dead Redemption 2. Speaking today at an MKM Partners event, the executive first discussed the reaction to the game's announcement in October. "Not shocked, very pleased," Zelnick said. He added that the game's announcement trailer has picked up more views that what the company expected. Overall, "anticipation is enormous" for the open-world sequel, Zelnick said. The executive also spoke about how the time is right in the world today for Red Dead Redemption 2 to succeed just as the original Red Dead Redemption did in 2010. "The conventional wisdom was of course that a western wouldn't work," Zelnick said about the first game. "We took a different point of view, which is that very occasionally westerns capture the imagination of the public. When we launched Red Dead, it did. And those times were right for that. And I think the times are right for a big, sprawling, optimistic view of America again--and that's not meant to be cute." "You can expect there to be great story elements and great gameplay elements," he said. Red Dead Redemption 2 will also have some kind of an online mode, though this--as well as basically all other elements of the game--has yet to be detailed. The game is due out in fall 2017 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
100% day one buy for me, so I'm not watching any leak videos or trailers for that matter. Won't make a difference in my purchase decision
just saw a kotaku guy post about it today saying too many game media outlets jumping to conclusions that its a western and that all he's heard is its set in montana. but i mean, what else would you do in montana?
could be the next Assassin's Creed where someone in the future plugs into the Animus to retrieve the memories of their ancestor who was a granola hipster living in Missoula.
