Odin negative about RDR2, well color me shocked
But yeah, showing 15 minutes of walking around and riding a horse in a 20 minute demo seems dumb. You can show off how beautiful the world is in far less time

maybe in the minority, but i'm almost worried this game could be too realistic to the point it's tedious to play. after reading the reddit thing i'm more concerned with that. at first i thought "oh wow, they thought of everything if arthur can get fat from eating bad and not exercising." but hell i don't eat well or exercise in my real life, why the hell would i do it in a game? i just wanna shoot shit and press the Y button to auto skin a bear.
i don't want The Sims: Wild West.
Arthur forgot to pay his student loans this month, harassing letters begin showing up at camp.
You could get fat or buff in San Andreas and it didn't take away from the game at all.
I disagree. The upkeep in San andreas and the leveling up of abilities were tedious and caused me not to finish the game. I do not want that to be an issue in RDR2
This easily my most controversial opinion when discussing video games. I’m pretty lock step when it comes to the classics but I’m not a fan of SA. My least favorite entry in the series and it’s almost completely because of the sims like rpg elements within the game. In a game with so much to do, I don’t wanna have to pointlessly drive, fly or shoot for hours on end just to get to the point where those mechanics work like they should. I don’t wanna have to stop and get a burger just so I don’t fatigue. Not my cup of tea
“Dead bodies won't despawn but decompose and attract scavengers”
I'm going to see how many bodies I can get to pile up in one spot. Good clean fun
Nothing about that concerns me and it all excites me
Yeah that sounds awesome. Can't wait
John Marsten won’t have to worry about protecting his wife and kid if they’re dead
God, I am excited. I always tend to play as a good guy, but I think I'll be a total piece of shit in my first play through.
i actually mostly agree with this. it sounds good, but i don't want to spend 30 minutes of gameplay tracking down dinner
but i also trust rockstar to implement this stuff in a way that adds to the experience
I just feel like it kills the immersion and takes away the “play how you want” element to an extent. I don’t want cumbersome rules with Rockstar.. I want to enjoy the story, and when I decide I want to break away and enjoy the details, I don’t wanna interrupt myself with any upkeep or do things I don’t really want to so I can be better prepared or in better shape to move forward. It’s not how I want to play their games
But, I also trust Rockstar. I mostly enjoyed SA I just got bored of all the extra shit. I won’t deny that it was a great game
Intrigued with what all’s involved with the online
If it’s anything close to gta online then we’re in for something special
Since the NCAA decided to cancel the rest of the football season I look forward to playing this until my fingers bleed
feel free to cheer for ucf again this year. we won't let you down unless you hire away another coach.
