Italian is my favorite of them by far.. and strangely enough I got told by the GM that the steak at Italian is better than Eats or Meats. I agree.
Weird. I didn't have a very good experience at Italian but the steaks at Meats are always incredible. Guess I gotta try again.
The people I went with wanted to get this but I had no desire to eat chicken parm there so they got mad at me and didn't order it.
No they didn't provide anything, not sure if you could pay extra for that but worth looking into. We got lucky as our neighbors downstairs moved two weeks prior and one of their parents owned a moving company, so they had a TON of extra boxes/packing supplies they just gave to us when they were done.

We're going Dec 15-18 and I tried booking Lugers through my credit card concierge and was unable to do so for any reasonable dining time. Keen's was also booked. You may want to try and get that squared away as soon as possible. We will probably just hit another spot like Benjamin, though I'm dying to try Lugers.
The chicken parm pizza at Quality Italian was delicious. I wasn't very high on Quality Meats, but then again I'm not a huge steakhouse guy to begin with.
Update -- The Chase Sapphire Reserve concierge just emailed me to say they got us a table at Keen's Steakhouse.

Had American Cut last night. Good, not great as far as top steakhouses go-- the chili lobster and Caesar were the best things. Did sit next to tom McCarthy, Bobby canavale, and Noah emmerich though which is cool Think I'm doing quality Italian tonight actually

Just discovered there's a Purbird five minutes from my apartment. Just ordered their half chicken special with jalapeño mashed potatoes, veggie of the day (cauliflower), bread with the hot verde sauce. Excited.
Ate at Uncle Jacks the other night. Pretty good, and reasonably priced. I've eaten at Keens, Quality Meats, and Sparks. It was comparable.
Red Hook is honestly the shit. You'll wander around and just end up in some warehouse where people are doing cool things.
We had a great time and got back yesterday. Stayed at The Beekman in the Financial District. Pretty cool hotel. Ate at L'Artusi in Greenwich Thursday night and it was damn good. Did the WTC Museum Friday morning and it was pretty awesome. We could've stayed longer than we did but we were going to meet a friend at Hometown BBQ in Brooklyn. We got a bunch of different food to try and it was all good, but the beef rib and Chinese sticky ribs were fucking great and worth the trip. While kind of rundown, I thought Red Hook had a pretty endearing quality, though I'm not sure how it's viewed by New Yorkers. It feels like it's not quite trendy yet, but will/could be soon. The friend we met lives over near Congress Street in about a 200sf apartment. Friday night we went to Keens. It was solid, and we weren't blown away, but it has a good atmosphere. Met another friend at Coopers Craft and Kitchen in Chelsea Saturday afternoon for a few beers before getting pizza at Bleeker Street that night. It snowed Friday night then rained Saturday morning and was messy as hell, but we still ended up walking about 10 miles. All in all, great trip. Would love to come back again. Appreciate the recommendations itt.
Nice work. I think most would agree that Keen's has a great atmosphere but the food could be better. Not bad, but there are many places that serve better steaks.
It was probably the best meal we had in hindsight. Their homemade ricotta app = . Damn, it was so good.
Love Hometown. Red Hook is fine it just has no subway access which is the primary reason why it isn't booming like everywhere else.
