32 players on that roster, so I don't mind calling in players like Beasley and Wando. Not really any real snubs. Nguyen perhaps Besler. I don't know who you are really missing at that point. It will be interesting to see who makes the cut for the friendlies assuming they have to get the roster down to 23ish.
During today's MLS Superdraft they were talking about trying to split the NCAA soccer season so that they play in fall and spring. The college system sucks, but that's gotta be a bit better in terms of more practice time/player development.
I agree with him that the team had not been working hard and needs to do it if it wants to compete. the rest is just a bunch of fluff.
Zelalem went on loan for the rest of the season to some second tier Dutch side. he's certainly at a crossroads in his career right now. not sure what is going to become of him. don't see him breaking through at Arsenal any time soon, I'm surprised he wasn't sold this window.
He just needs to play right now, but if he can't move past that level this summer then his stock is really down.
Would've liked to have seen Rosenberry given a shot but guessing Bruce wants Zusi to start both matches at RB. Glad to see Wondo sent home.
Hyndman off to a much quicker start than Zelalem with the Rangers. Goal and man of the match in his first start after they went a man down in the 4th minute.
I don't think he was getting a whole lot of time, but I admittedly hadn't kept up a whole lot. I figured since he wasn't going to sign a new deal with them, they weren't gonna play him much.
Hyndman was mainly used as a sub last season. Really no playing time early in the year but was getting a lot more time late in the year and putting in very solid performances. Was one of the players with the most promise. I have to think if he stuck around he would have been getting a lot more time this year. somewhere between a starter or first midfielder off the bench routinely. Everyone was disappointed to see him go. Feel like week in and week out the competition is probably better in the championship than the spl, but I don't follow spl at all.
