Personally, I think anyone bitching on either side should stfu and stop being a cunt. At this point no one knows exactly what's going to happen so literally everything is speculation.
He will be the blacksmith who forges the Valyrian steel/dragon glass swords to kill the white walkers.
I think that's a good guess. Also think he's gonna become the head of House Baratheon and be legitimized by either Dany or Jon
It would be in Cersei's best interest to name the lord of the second strongest house in the Stormlands as regent and give them Storms End. However, the Stormlands don't have a really strong second house like other kingdoms do (Houses Hightower, Frey, Bolton, etc.). Best house might be the Dondarrions and Beric isn't a friend of Cersei. It's an easy power move for Dany to legitimize Gendry and rally the Stormlands behind him and her cause.
That would be something, for Dany to legitimize the bastard of the king who murdered a bunch of her family and who tried to murder her, and then to give that bastard the ancestral seat of his house.
Agreed. But historically House Baratheon has been quite loyal to House Targaryen. Only recently was there issues with Aerys and Rhaegar. I'm sure Tyrion will be sure to point that out.
House Baratheon was a Legitimized part of the Targaryen, also seem to remember Robert, Stannis and Renlys Grandmother or Great Grandmother was a Targaryen... Seems fitting...
Grandmother. Daughter of Egg. Which kinda gave creedence to his claim of being Azor Ahai reborn (Targ heritage being a prerequisite) Spoiler Until we learn in Dance that AAR is not just having Targ heritage but being from the line of the Mad King specifically
In all honesty and fairness I'm stoked on Team Gendry, and in a future battle see him wreck shit with a Warhammer....
Tyrion did say: Tyrion should be able to convince Dany to move on legitimize Gendry and have him as an ally. Not sure if the show has touched on it but Gendry is supposed to be the splitting image of Renly who was and still is beloved by the people of Storm's End so he could possibly rally the people of the Storm lands.
Yes this season. I just don't see any other explanation how the dead army gets on the other side without that shit going down
Doesn't make sense that the water is frozen. It never freezes there, even in the coldest of winters. That said they may try and breech Eastwatch since the wall does end there
He's kind of a main character. Label him as supporting but because he's been in the show so long I labeled it as big
So if he dies, it could still be a "holy shit" moment, but yea I think majority will be numb to it. People gotta go...
Agree. Last scene will be this long intense moment of the wall crumbling down..then The Night King walking through
With Bran being at the Night's Watch...Night King can go to the wall, and again Bran fucks it up for everyone
