I love soup. Chicken noodle, clam chowder, she crab, leaky potato, miso, etc. but I’ve been on a French onion kick lately.
Also grits and grillades. While not a soup, this is definitely on my list of go-to cold weather meals.
My favorite lazy recipe is cutting up around 2 lbs of chicken thighs, some onion, yukon gold potatoes, and throwing it all in the crockpot with 2 cans of cream of chicken for 6 hours. So good.
Just had this for diner. https://www.google.com/amp/www.food...-neely/white-chicken-chili-recipe-1922199.amp
Had some beef and vegetable soup for dinner. Add that to the list of top soups. Along with Clam chowder Chicken and dumplings Mushroom Crab and corn bisque
That's too much shit for me to do. I put the crock pot on warm, 3 large chicken breasts, one can chicken broth. Two hours later 1 can cream of chicken and a jar of sweet corn pepper salsa from Kroger, sometimes I add sliced potato or mushroom. Two hours later 1/2 container of queso dip from Kroger, one can northern beans, one can white corn. Give it another hour and you're good to go.
The best chowder in the world (literally) is from a place in Seattle. Actually bought some last week. https://shop.pikeplacechowder.com
